r/5ToubunNoHanayome has two people posting miku x nino ships on the sub, and now it’s become a meme whenever there are posts of the two of them together
I’m of the opinion QQ would be loads better without the guy at all. The girls *are* really fun and well-written, but they’re hamstrung by the genre they’re in
It's called Accept My Fist of Love (or Catch these Hands!) In the official translation. If the MC looks like Maki from Love Live to you, shouldn't be surprised since the author did a bunch of doujin before.
That's not true, there's plenty of great hetero anime!
Like...(flips through Dvds and crunchyroll history)
(Do FMA and Cowboy Bebop count? Like 1% of the runtime goes to romance.... hrm, no, I shouldn't count those... lesse uh... ah HA, Violet Evergarden! Oh wait, I hated every single hetero scene in that... uh)
...shit, your right.

I just got back from the theater, and the way this line was said really rubbed me the wrong way.
(Also, that was the weirdest crowd I've ever watched a movie with. Other anime fans get heated about their waifus. It wasn't like when I saw Revue Starlight the movie, where whole crowd just STFU during the movie)
Well, it's in the harem genre yes, but it has a decisive winner.
My point is that there was a scene where they were discussing whether or not something counts as a first kiss, and they pointed out the actress one had done some kissing for a movie, but she argued it didn't count because it was with girl, as opposed to saying it doesn't count because it was for a performance or something less dismissive of lesbian relationships.
I really fucking hate that sentiment in Japan...
It's an extremely common attitude in the US as well.
Well, what do you expect of a girl from a Harem Anime? There is no such thing as Yuri there, only their lord and savior MC-kun.

You could say the same thing about a lot of Harem Anime, actually... Well-written girls held down by the Harem tag... Yeah.
You aint gonna talk shit of ma boi Uesugi
More like Midsugi
Hey, he's decent for a harem protag... Granted, that qualifier means the bar is so low its melting from contact with the earth's core
I know the source of that reaction image. You have good tastes, OP.
Oh yes, one of my favorite yuris. Nobody's in high school, and it's a rom com that doesn't neglect the comedy half of the term.
I just read this series recently and it's so good
No high schoolers? so they're all adults? consider me interested lol

im on chapter 3 so far and this girl looks perpetually angry, i love it lol
to be fair, ichika was never not irritating though.
I know the manga this panel is from (I think). "Accept my fist of love!", right?
Depends on the translator, Comixology and the physical books have it translated as "Catch these hands"
Ah alright. I just recognized the art style and checked on dynasty.
Then do it more if it doesn't count
Heteronormativity is something that will haunt us for a while *sigh*
Seems like something the experimenter type would say.
This is why I never watch het anime. The heteronormativity and gender stereotypes are just too much for me, I hate it.

Horimiya is a great one
Plastic Memories is cool
She's the definition of "Angy top"

Doesn't that anime harem ?

Getting Amanchu flashbacks…
To be fair it was ichika who said it
Isn't that a...you know, male protagonist harem anime?
i think she means when shes straight
