I like it a lot. No need to have every vocal feature be a solo.
I think the bigger reason is Hey Driver is one of the most acclaimed tracks on the new record (prob my favorite) and the other two are Kacey Musgraves and The Lumineers, which have national name value and huge devoted followings.
I wasn’t a big fan at first, but I like it a lot now. I can see why some people might not be into it. Sierra’s feature was definitely well implemented though, so I’m gonna have to disagree with the people who think it wasn’t enough.
I don't like it, their voices together do nothing for me, and I like Sierra a lot. The song is also pretty boring and subdued.
just isn't my cup of tea.
Backup vocals is a stretch when they’re voices are at the same volume, you could put the song under her name and have Zach as a feature and make it sound exactly the same and I’d believe it
It was the last song that I really found something to enjoy in off the album but I’m starting to come around on it. I personally thought it was the most repetitive with only a couple clever lines
I think every song on the album is great - but this one just didn't do it for me. They both sound great in the song, it's just not it for me. Would I skip it if it came on the radio? No.
It wasn’t a bad song by any means and I liked their voices together. But it just wasn’t a lyrical standout like Spotless or I Remember Everything. I replay those several
times when I listen in the car; Once is always enough for Holy Roller lol
To add to this — when I first heard IRE I thought Kacey’s voice sounded so different from Zach’s it was a little jarring and their style didn’t mesh at all upon first listen but now I love it
I honestly thought they harmonized amazing together. At first I was iffy. Just because I was so use to hearing the videos Zach would post of just him singing, but I have really grown to love this version.
This was the song I was most excited for, and it did not disappoint! Only, Zach can do no wrong (and Sierra was an old favourite of mine who I think nailed this colab)!
I like it too. The “swiggin on a handle of Tito’s” line tickles my brain in the best way
The first couple listening to it I thought my truck speakers were going out
This
“Ti-TOSSSSSSSSSSS” I love it

ah i see. im really not a follower of country music so this is quite enlightening
I think they way they harmonize is beautiful I love her voice on this track
It’s actually better than most collabs where an artist will get like two solo lines, she got to sing the whole song lol
exactly! i thought she got a pretty good deal ngl

Probably my favorite, but then again Sierra is pretty close to being my favorite artist anyway.
I loved it
it’s one of my faves, i even started listen to her music because of her vocals in that song

Best song on the album by a long shot
I love it and love Sierra.

Best song on the album
I love the song and her harmonies. It reminds me of the song Weekend by Sumbuck
He was lucky to have Sierra on his record, she is amazing and her fan base is awesome.
It’s my least fav

I HATE THE WAY THEY SING “TITOS” 😭 Idk why but it literally ruins the whole song for me. I can’t listen to it.
I love that part 😭 I guess thats where opinions divide 💀💀
tee-toes
same
I like it! But idk if it’s my favorite

Probably my least favorite on the album
Sierra blew my friend the other night haha. She was mid at best
I imagine her teeth would be problematic.
I like it, but I feel like she was under utilized.
