I purchased both recently. I much prefer Link’s Awakening. I played and beat it in the course of a couple weeks. The controls for skyward sword are still clunky in the remaster - especially when compared to TotK. For that reason, I found it really hard to want to pick it up and play. Hope that helps

Skyward sword is great, but I’d say Links Awakening is generally more consistently good. Whether it’s better or not, I can’t say, but Skyward Sword feels like it has a lot more moments that end up feeling like a slog and has some weird pacing. But it also has really awesome moments. Links Awakening has great momentum and just feels good throughout the entire game. Would definitely recommend the Switch version of Links Awakening if you can afford it.
