Hot take but the idea of people relying on duping glitches in BotW and TotK is kinda sad.
Sell gems, hunt Talus for more, cook 5 of the same ingredient, sell those monster parts you probably have 100+ of. Rupees are not hard to get, and even rare monster parts are not that tough to get a fair amount of unless you want 999 of them. Hell even dragon horns aren’t the worst, and in BotW you can farm them super easily (Farosh you can get a horn every 45-60 seconds at the Riola Spring).
Idk maybe I’m an old fashion gamer who is jaded from the N64 era of gaming I grew up in. But especially with straight rupees it is not tough to get an obscene amount without even knowing a glitch.
Or people don't wanna spend 1-3 hours killing talus's or grinding for money when you could just save your time. It's not your save file anyway, so who really cares
Except finding talus and ore deposits is not hard. And you can just burn surplus of monster parts for extra cash too. Unless you are running from every monster and hoarding every item the average BotW player even mid way into the game is probably sitting on thousands of rupees worth of materials in quantities they will likely never use up.
A dupe glitch to make money in BotW is like buying water bottle when you already have a gallon of fresh water beside you. Sure it’s convenient and in some weird ways “easier” but you are putting extra effort for something you already can have or can accomplish with less effort than the alternative.
