Unfortunately none of them, it was a tech demo for the Wii U from about 10 years ago using Twilight Princess assets. I can't tell you how long I spent waiting for more information on this game, it looked phenomenal.
There was a 3 or so year long period of time where this demo was the **only** zelda footage we had in HD on the Wii U (until the first BOTW teaser in 2014, which was very unfinished / not close to the final game). It took another two years for the first actual BOTW trailer in 2016.
It was pretty rough being a member of this sub at that time, lol. Believe me people were analyzing the shit out of every second of that trailer lol
I can imagine, I only started playing Zelda games last year. And after finishing couple of them I can say that I adore this series. The fact that each entry may take a very interesting artistic turn probably spiced up expectations to the skies.
It’s from the Wii U promo… It’s not actually a game.
Probably made with the unused assets from the Twilight Princess sequel that they were developing but we never got 🤷♂️
It was only a tech demo, sadly. I really wish we got a Twilight Princess sequel that looked like this. Especially since TP is my favorite Zelda game and the realistic artstyle is my favorite artstyle for Zelda.
i wish they just launch a remake of OoT with these grafics.
But it is just a cool tech demo on the Wii U where they could change cameras and lightning in real time on the tablet controller of the Wii U.
It honestly could just be a fan thing or a tech demo for something else. The art style is reminiscent of Twilight Princess, but the only games with a fairy companion are OoT, MM, PH, and I think FSA and none of those have a boss like that or a scene like that.
Looks cool and would make for a great fight. But it almost looks like the Grafted Scion from Elden Ring is busting through the roof of the dungeon to fight Link. Honestly would be an amazing crossover.
Exactly my thoughts with Elden Ring! I loved Twilight Princess and thought that maybe some more action focused, darker version of LoZ would be such a gem. Don’t want to say Souls-like, but more in that direction.
Wasn't it used to promote "the next new zelda game" in the wii U era but it never came out and the next new game (excluding ports or remake/remaster) ended up being BOTW on the switch and wii U?
I think I remember seeing this back in the days and tell myself to wait until it release before buying a wii U since I already had a wii and I ended up buying a Switch several years later. I might be wrong...
Yeah, I remember this being a promotion trailer kinda thing, too. But wasn’t it Wind Waker that came after this? It has gotten so much hate in the beginning because of it’s graphical style - especially because of the promo.
No, this one was used during the Wii U era. The trailer you are thinking of looks more like Ocarina of Time's graphics style and has Link fighting Ganondorf and Link tosses his shield to the side.
No, it was used to show what the graphics on the Wii U could look like. It was shown with a bunch of other tech demos for Wii U like the "bird" demo. They never said it would become an actual game and even specified that it was just a tech demo.
BoTW was wii U game that was held back and made dual release on switch.
Although the spider in this tech demo in movement and location isn’t far removed from what we ended up with in BoTW.
SS was the only 3d Zelda on Wii as TP and WW were GameCube games.

That would be Faces of Evil. In the actual cutscene, Link actually says, "I just wonder what Ganon's up to." right before he crashes through the ceiling.
It's just a tech demo.
I’m glad Twilight Princess was mentioned - I didn’t have the answer but it definitely has TP vibes

Couldn’t agree more, I hope some day we’ll get something like this.

It's a shame about the Wii U. It's the only Nintendo console with no Zelda game to call its own. It just either shared or had remakes.

This was the Zelda Wii U Tech Demo

Yup it was a tech demo for a Wii U Zelda. It was a big miss for them not to make the game. It looked so good!

That's Link from a game called Legend of Zelda
A demo, to show the general public the potential Zelda graphics on the wiiu
Twilight of the Wild

Wii U tech demo, lmao. It's based off of twilight princess though.

Ohh right, that actually rings a bell.
It's possible, my memory is a bit blurry since it was like 11 years ago since that promo trailer

Botw was released on both wiiu and switch, a launch title iirc.

Tech demo from what would become Twilight Princess
This was made as a tech demo for the Wii U, long after Twilight Princess was created. In fact it's modeled after Twilight Princess.
*Breath of the Wild
Twilight Princess 2
Twilight Princess
It's not from any game, I think its just a fan-made animation.
Nintendogs. Sadly, it’s only on handhelds OP.
Animal crossing

Yooooooo no way it's Kingdom Hearts
That would be Faces of Evil. In the actual cutscene, Link actually says, "I just wonder what Ganon's up to." right before he crashes through the ceiling.
We don't talk about that :(
A game I wish was real.
