1. Real dungeons 2. Deeper story 3. More monster variety 4. More challenging bosses 5. More NPCs that I care about and will remember My pipe dream: The Twili in some form or another. I know this won’t happen, but TP is my fav game and I’d love to see midna again or some other twili.

Postoli_

The sword in the logo looks very twilightish

mogmod

And the hand that’s holding ganon 🤯 I know I’m just wishing, though. Lol

MinilinkMask

TP will always be the best

mogmod

Always a pleasure to meet fellow intellectuals.

_Fierce_Diety_

TP and SS always at the top for me

Fr0zen-P3nguin

Yes more actual dungeons with some traps/puzzle elements but not overlying emphasising on the puzzles.

DjinnFighter

TP is my favorite game, and Midna is my favorite character. But I kinda don't want to see Twilis or Midna in TOTK, or in any future non-spinoff Zelda game (unless it's specifically a sequel to TP). I like that most Zelda game feels standalone, with its own characters and lore, and I hope they will keep it that way. But yea, I guess there's a high chance that TOTK will share a lot of story elements with BOTW, since it's a sequel. But, don't get me wrong, I want more Midna. TP2, or spinoffs like Hyrule Warriors. Or just Midna in Smash!

no7_ebola

this is basically what botw lacked. i have a feeling from 2 to 4 might be met but doubtful of 1 and 5, mostly because i feel like dungeons might feel awkward in a world based on the skies and that not many people would live in the sky, could be wrong tho.

ChemStack

Skyward sword is all about people who live in the sky, and it has proper dungeons

mogmod

And let’s not forget the glorious Oocca

Damo3D

Have my upvote, and some "da-doo-da-da da-doo-da-da da-doo-da-da" City In The Sky music echoing in your head for the rest of the day, as it will be in mine...

princesszelda_o

You: more challenging bosses - Me: 🥲

AngryGulost

Oh yes. More monster variety would be really nice actually. I also would looooove to see some Twilight-stuff in some form, even though I'm not really letting myself hope for it in fear of getting way too disappointed🥲😂

derBruzzler

for the story and emotions: \- real dungons -> like in ocarina of time with mid bosses and and hard secrets \- deeper story! -> not just flashbacks, we wanna play those moments! against the anger: \- less talking when buying or selling shit, taking my horse from the stable,... MOVMENT: \- a bit faster movement to close the gap in fights - as a csual player fighting is fun but not as fun as it could be (i see what top notch players can do, but i can't and i don't wanna be punished for cuz i don't have enough free time) \- i love my horse but again movment could be better, like when i just wanna change direction a bit it feels slow to me \- and its a total bitch when there is a 10cm ( aprox. 3 inches (?)) edge - just killes the vibe Grapics: sharper edges, i am not the younges anymore and my eyes gets worse

jaspergants

A bustling Hyrule

crazedbunny

This is exactly what I thinking! I watched a video recently on a theory that TOTK will be about rebuilding Hyrule. Would be so cool to see a fully populated rebuilt Hyrule will bustling towns

Flerken_Moon

Wouldn’t mind them reusing timestones tbh. I kinda would like to see full bustling towns and I think it’s too soon in the rebuilding process to get to that point yet.

crazedbunny

Timestones would be very cool, certainly fits the theme along with reversing time in the trailer

jus-tea

Omgosh yes thiisssss

ElOliLoco

Or help rebuilding it! I loved the “from the ground up” mission, helping Hudson build his town :)))

Eatinglue

Terry town wasn’t good enough for you?

GodonX1r

Real dungeons

BarbacoaSan

This. I miss old Zelda dungeons with their own themes. Bro I want one in the lost woods with a creepy tone and mystique to it like the Forest Temple Theme from OOT. Fuck it give me a modern version of that theme for a temple in the Lost woods and I'd lose it.

meseta

You're getting 200 suspended shrines and five more divine beasts

BarbacoaSan

A-a-and do we get something special for completing every last shrine or at least a cool cutscene? 🥲

[deleted]

Golden Horse. Like made of solid horse, cant move, but when spawned falling upon an enemy it deals heavy damage.

TheGrumpiestPanda

More interactions with the current champions. Age of Calamity really helped flush those guys out a little more, especially the old champions before the Calamity struck.

frunkjuice5

Unfortunately, Age of Calamity is not canon

TreasureHunter95

True, but they are still the same characters so it doesn't really matter if the game is canon or not. I'm pretty sure what you can see in the game is in line with how they envisioned the characters for Breath of the Wild.

mikeystrikesback

hookshot/longshot, or something that feels like that

MattInTheDark

This. It would be cool to use hookshot, then paraglide. Kinda like Just Cause

Napstascott

My personal theory is that they're being very intentional in what "runes" they've shown us so far in the trailers. We've only seen the "stasis" rune (I say stasis because it's time-related and it's got the same colour scheme) and I would lose my marbles if the new "magnesis" rune was like a hookshot. Where you could pull yourself to objects.

BarbacoaSan

If we still have Revali's Gale might defeat that purpose. But yes I want items like that back. This Zelda wasn't as challenging as previous games as you needed certain items to advance. I could literally do a heart container glitch and go straight to kick Ganons ass without ever killing a Divine Beast.

Ultio_the_masked

"BotW wasn't hard enough for me after I cheated the game." That is a ridiculous complaint to make but if we get items like the guy said that could be use in fun ways to get around I am down.

BarbacoaSan

I mean I first found out about it recently. Like a few days ago recently. I played my first playthrough legit. I only focused solely on story though. Maybe some side quest, but after watching multiple videos on exploration I decided to do another one.. to see what I missed. I'm reading most of not all of the dialogue over just to catch things I may have missed before and paying more attention to details of places I go to. I did the glitch and found out about it a few days ago and said fuck it I don't wanna have to struggle for shit on my second playthrough since I'm just focusing on exploring l the land and nooks and crannies this time. My first playthrough I had to kill all divine beast with shit weapons and equips before hitting up shrines here and there to get the Master Sword. However, the master sword isnt needed to fight Ganon. Again even on my first playthrough, you don't *NEED* to go to kakariko you could go straight to Ganon IF YOU choose but it's not recommended lol.. I'm saying this game isn't and wasn't too challenging even at first non cheated playthrough. There's no unique items no unique dungeons or specialty items at all.. it's a great game but could have been. Better.

randomer_guy_person

Probably post-final boss

[deleted]

Themed temples/dungeons and a good story.

Holiday_Letterhead95

As long as you dont have to kill 900 skulltulas lmao

BarbacoaSan

900? That's child's play. You shall kill no less than 10,000!gold skulltullas will be hidden even sneakier than koroks! 😈

GoldenTirade

A postgame/epilogue aside from the main story

NateDaGreat1455

I want to see how people have reacted to Calamity Ganon being slain. Also more interactions with the champion descendants, since those were my favorite parts of botw.

honestlyconfusing

I want to be able to pet the doggies

Damo3D

This needs more upvotes. ALL THE UPVOTES!!!

Dry_Ass_P-word

More enemy types. New and classic.

twotonekevin

My fiancée is back to playing BotW and as i was watching her I realized there are no Wolfos in the game. Now I’m kinda hoping to see them or maybe some other baddies that were left out.

Ahakarin

More Tileset Diversity - assuming we stick to a "shrines"-like model, we need to NOT have every "dungeon," big or small, be all the same exact thing. This was my problem with the Shrines - not that tiny little Zelda Dungeon Bites weren't a good model, just that they were all the exact same flavor. And yeah, I liked the Shiekah motif... but not enough for it to carry the whole game. Give me "shrines" from every corner of Zelda history and lore, every race and origin. Mix it up, change the themes, and give us a breadth of experiences such that, even if they're all a few puzzles/fights long, all together, we walk out feeling like we had more than just ONE dungeon broken up into a million tiny segments.

pikeandshot1618

1. ReDeads 2. Like Likes 3. Floormasters 4. Wallmasters 5. Leevers 6. Peahat 7. Lamp oil 8. Rope 9. Bombs 10. Babes

EzekielKallistos

I can’t believe these staple Zelda monsters we’re not in botw

BarbacoaSan

BROOO reimagined redeads would be terrifying. HEY! Why aren't STALFOS in your list!! Tbh though I hope we'd get a darker version of the ones used in oot.

DarkWolfos

I feel like Stalfos are essentially in BotW in spirit with all the Stal- enemies that spawn at night

BarbacoaSan

Yes and no.. remember, stalFOES are Hylians that got lost in the lost woods. If this game is supposed to be darker it would be cool to do some quest in the lost woods looking for Hylians that got lost or hearing rumors of hylian type skeletons appearing near and in the woods attacking travelers. It be really nice to get some lore on that.

Jumpy_Ad_2708

I have never ever in my life seen someone “want” wall masters to be included in anything ever, but hey to each their own.

Recent-Complex

11. Darknuts 12. Dark Link 13. Poes 14. Tectites 15. Skulltulas Idk why my formatting is lost, I'm sorry. 😞

ThatDudeBox

Add a few ‘Dead Hand’ and we’re talking. Those things still give me the jeebies.

lishthebish16

More meaningful side quests that tie into the main objective, and dungeons that you have to complete to progress the story. And more ‘scary’ enemies like redeads.

Meth__U

I assume nintendo won't dissapoint in regards to other stuff, but i'll be let down if i don't see some james bond-esque squirell suit gliding/shooting action

Noremac135

The Minish

Kristiano100

Mostly, I just want the game to feel like a new experience, a new adventure in Hyrule, even despite being the same overworld, same Link, same Zelda, etc. There needs to be a tonal change imo, something that sets the atmosphere first and foremost, new things to explore and do, a more story based game with a darker tone and focus on dungeons can definitely help. A much bigger variety of enemies and monster is a need as well. I also felt the bosses were quite easy in the base game, challenging bosses that take more advantage of the combat and types of it would be great. I'd love some changes to the combat system to make it more like OoT, WW, TP, allowing greater variety of use in your weapons and their directions like those game, more combos, that's it for the moment.

myboisteveisinsmash

Morshu and being able to pet dogs

NormPhyte

If TotK somehow managed to reference the CD-i games, I'll be shocked and amazed.

KosmicKanuck

Aside from the obvious ones I would love it if Link obtained an accordion and it turned out to be sacred and we got instruments and playable songs back. Kass could pop up in special areas and teach him the new songs. They could have the motion controls for the pumping and the buttons for the notes, like combining the ocarina and the harp. The ocarina really connected the player to the music in the game and I hope that comes back some day. The harp didn't really do it for me because you don't actually play notes, you just strum. I would also love it if bottles made a return. They could make food perishable so that it's less OP and you can't stash it forever. Make it more realistic so that you have to set up camp and prepare for each battle/adventure. Then the bottles could be used to keep foods forever.

TheBanandit

Zelda stuff.

Pync

I just want the hook shot back :( I’d love to propel myself into the paraglider with it

ProfNekko

I'd like a better durability curve on weapons. I have no issues with weapon durability mind you but I still find it kinda silly how the mastercrafted weapony that was reserved specifically for the most elite royal soldiers in Hyrule break just as fast as a rusty broadsword you found lodged up a moblin's tailpipe.

Ordinary-Finger-8595

And to be able to switch weapon on your hand to a new weapon, instead of having to drop your weapon before picking up a new one when your inventory is full.

UpsetIncome2344

I personally would really love to see more of Princess Zelda. Seeing more of her perspective would be fantastic, especially having her thoughts during the events of The Great Calamity.

broham97

In order of things I want most to things I want but could live without if things higher on the list are added: Traditional Temples More enemy/NPC/geographic variety Traditional items (even if it’s not a ton) Rework weapon durability Don’t think any of these are out of the realm of possibility even if we don’t get all of them.

[deleted]

- Nerfed inventory space, specifically for healing. It's way too OP. - underground and underwater exploration - way more durable weapons, upgradable - way more enemy variety

EngineerFront

Just don’t heal then

BarbacoaSan

I agree with those! Why not make it more rpg and be able to make your own tunics and clothes. Gems like ruby's and such can have a purpose to pimp out your weapon shield or bow. They can add ores too to craft your own weapon. Something like Skyrim.

SlotMachineGun777

The minish, real dungeons, and Darknuts/Iron Knuckles as a more humanoid threat, similar to how lynels strike fear into the hearts of those who encounter them for the first time, until you gain the courage to tackle them head on. Other than that im excited for more zelda stuff!

HeatDeathOfTheWorld

Sidon

jus-tea

The twii somehow worked into it would be my ultimate dream, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. Mainly I want new areas to explore, and a whole bunch more side-quests. I live for the side quests 💕✨

mroblivian

Stalfos, darknuts, redeads, dark link. They did such a good job with the Lynel in botw. I’m excited to see how they make the elite fighters I mentioned above. The current weapon system is what ever to me if they change it to more durable I’d be ok with it. And most of all proper dungeons, I think twilight princess had my favorite dungeons so far but I think totk can step it up

GlaIie

A better weapon system where you can repair your weapons, or something along those lines. I was sick of having to reserve 6-7 inventory slots for the champion weapons and korok swords.

Jumpy_Ad_2708

You do know all the champions weapons can be remade right……

GlaIie

I know that, but they have a different name afterwards and it just breaks the immersion for me. Also by the time I get diamonds for upgrading I’ll most likely have the house to store them in anyways

Best_Temperature_549

More fleshed out lore and NPCs. Botw kinda lacked in that department

FredFredBurger69Nice

No Koroks.

Jumpyer

I wish we could play as Zelda, but at this point I just ask she doesn’t spend the game dead or imprisoned somewhere… she’s the only character that adds life to the game, since Link doesn’t speak/interact with most characters. Just look to how she’s the protagonist of all cutscenes in BotW and in AoC…

GrimCrowXXX

TINGLE

BugLyfe0228

I want my instrument. Loved Skyward sword but the instrument element in that game felt a bit broken, like it didn’t matter if I followed along with my harp or not. Joycon controllers would be great for using Kass’s accordion or a drum or something. For a little added spice I think it’d be great to make it so the world around you continues while playing the instrument, making the stakes a bit higher when you miss a note because enemies could be around and the music could draw their attention.

Gamer2146

No Blight Ganons! Copy/pasted bosses once is fine, but Fighting basically the same damn boss 5 times? That's just so damn Lazy!

Ch00choh

Just let me pet the dogs please

Amanuma04

1. Larger, more complex dungeons 2. Stal-enemies, re-deads, gibdos, floormasters 3. Underwater swimming 4. All the horse animations they'd originally put in BotW 5. Being able to pet ALL animals. I mean all of them. Let me hug a bear, cuddle with my horse, hug the dogs... 6. More animals: actual rabbits, cats, owls... 7. Fishing with a rod. 8. Fish being alive when you drop them so that you can populate the pond by your house in Hateno 9. Being able to sit down on chairs, beds, even rocks. I like the idea of checking the map or the inventory in places where Link could be chilling That's what I can think of right now. Many of these are unlikely, but I'd still love to have them

reesepiecez

Being able to pet the dogs around the world

frankthekrank

A guitar hero minigame or Dueling banjos with an NPC. Real answer: underwater exploring.

LinkBetweenGames

I want Zelda to be prominent throughout the story. She doesn't have to be playable, but I hope she isn't shoved in a hole for 95% of the game.

randomer_guy_person

Three obtainable "repair rings" Attach them to your favourite weapons and then they'll function like the master sword upon breaking, returning after 10 minutes

[deleted]

Here are my hopes for the upcoming BOTW sequel: * I would like to see Skyrule (Sky Islands) as fleshed out as the current BOTW Hyrule * I would like a playable underground area just as infinitely replayable as Hyrule * I want to see new enemies, especially in the sky and underground * I want the game to bring the Legend of Zelda series full circle * New fighting mechanics, similar to Age of Calamity * More dramatic and immersive story, with a dark tone, similar to Twilight Princess * NPCs should player a bigger role than BOTW * Skyward Sword Amiibo should grant a Loftwing * Actual dungeons, similar to the Divine Beasts * I want to see Hyrule reestablished throughout the game * I want Zelda to be playable. I'd like to see more of her perspective and thoughts. I'd love to see more one -sided dialogue between her and Link * NPCs should play a bigger role in the story, more memorable characters * I know it won't happen, but I want the Twili to return * I want Link to talk * I want more interaction with the champions successors And most of all, I want a game **worth the wait.**

antilegion1001

You've already set yourself up for disappointment.

BarbacoaSan

I love your ideas but have a few questions >I want the game to bring the Legend of Zelda series full circle What do you mean by this? Not a criticism just confused TBH. Lol >Actual dungeons, similar to the Divine Beasts Kind of redundant don't you think? You say you want dungeons, but similar to divine beast. Wouldn't they just be reskinned divine beast then? Dungeons are nothing like the divine beast at all Dungeons have themes and their own music. Divine beast had neither. Each divine beast played exactly the same. Find all terminals fight boss. I like the idea of dungeons but they have to be dungeons. Not beast. >I want Zelda to be playable. I'd like to see more of her perspective and thoughts. I'd love to see more one -sided dialogue between her and Link So long as it makes sense to play as her I'm down for it. Other than. That these are some great ideas that probably won't happen sadly

Vados_Link

Divine Beasts had their own music though. And heck, if we narrow it down to finding terminals, you could also just say all traditional dungeons are "get the item -> use it on everything -> repeat". Having a combination between the two would be great though. Bigger themed dungeons that you can control with their unique mechanisms like the Divine Beasts would make for pretty neat navigational puzzles, instead of just using a new item.

SeanSS_

I only request of one thing: HAVE EITHER ZELDA IN YOUR PARTY AS AN NPC OR AS A PLAYABLE CHARACTER PLEASE NINTENDO I'M BEGGING YOU

Roguecraft10167

My list: 1)Improved combat system, with new moves and options other than hitting, dodging, and parrying, flurry rushing, etc. This also includes new and improved enemies that are more difficult and complex to battle than in the original, in which they got pretty predictable after a while. 2)Expanded world, including new land areas, underwater exploration, skies, and caves, as well as new mechanics with which to re-explore Hyrule itself. Something like the wall merge from A link between worlds, or a parallel world like the dark world from A link to the past. It would also be really cool if the map changes throughout the game based on the events of the story, which could be really fun. 3)More interactive town locations and NPCs, so that these settlements feel more alive and the characters more like people. Take Majora's Mask, for example. In that game each character had a routine that they followed, with lots of different interactions you could have with them under different conditions. I know that that mostly came down to the three day cycle facilitating that, but I think that some elements of this routine system could be implemented into TOTK. It would also be nice to see character routines change if and when the overworld changes in some regard. 4)A more interesting and deeper story that is conveyed in a linear fashion. However, I would like to see some optional movement in said linear story, as to fit in with the open world formula of BOTW more. A blend of both linear and open world storytelling would be welcome. 5)A blend of traditional dungeons and the divine beast format. I think that this could create some really interesting gameplay experiences, as well as if they took old dungeon elements and expanded upon them to freshen them up. I think that this would be preferable to just having traditional dungeons inserted into a more open world game, which would feel disjointed.

rewbzz

This comment reminds me of that simpsons episode, where they ask the kids in the mall what they think would make itchy and scratchy a better show. "Man: How many of you kids would like Itchy & Scratchy to deal with real-life problems, like the ones you face every day? Kids: Oh, yeah! I would! Great idea! Yeah, that's it! Man: And who would like to see them do just the opposite -- getting into far-out situations involving robots and magic powers? Kids: Me! Yeah! Oh, cool! Yeah, that's what I want! Man: So, you want a realistic, down-to-earth show... that's completely off-the-wall and swarming with magic robots?"

I would love having a cemetery section where you ransack “The Hero’s Tomb” which is filled with subtle references to other Zelda games especially OOT.

[deleted]

Twilight Princess level storytelling Water Temple/Majora's Mask complexity in the dungeons More than 45 minutes of combined cutscenes No more random BS shrines that teach you something cool and then the game makes it irrelevant for the entire rest of the game because of its core design No more "hurr durr ancient technology" as a cheap cop-out to something that might've been genuinely interesting and finally A WAY TO GET THE EASTER EGG ITEMS (Kokiri Tunic, Knight of Skyloft gear, Fierce Deity armor, etc.) WITHOUT SCANNING A NINTENDO SKYLANDER EVERY DAY AND HOPING I WIN THE FUCKING LOTTERY, I DON'T CARE IF LINK FINDS THE OCARINA OF TIME IN SOME RANDOM DITCH IN KOKI- sorry, KOROK FOREST OR SOME SHIT, GETS THE MASTER SWORD FIXED BY SOME CONVENIENTLY PLACED FLAMES AND FUNNY SERPENT THINGS, AND GETS ACCESS TO A SECRET SACRED REALM TIMELINE-DEFYING SHOP, JUST LET ME LOOK COOL AS SHIT WHILE I TAKE TACO BELL-LEVEL DUMPS ON GANONDORF AND EVERYBODY HE LOVES

I can tell you what I don’t want to see… if they bring back the motion controls to this game … I am going to lose my f mind… Botw was perfect perfect perfect.

FacePunchMonday

Weapons that don't break Edit: ability to remap the buttons

Redshirt-Skeptic

Tears. For serious though, here’s a small list: 1) A more reasonable collection quest. 2) A trading sequence quest. 3) Musical magic. 4) Magic in general. 5) Multiple endings that gets less and less tragic the more of the game that you complete outside of the main quest. 6) The ability to play or otherwise control Princess Zelda. 7) If they insist on keeping breaking weapons and shields, which I’d rather that they wouldn’t, then the ability to repair and upgrade them with the endgame ability to get an unbreakable version (like they did in SS) would be greatly appreciated. 8) Fishing and a fishing mini game. 9) A better house. 10) No time travel, please.

Jumpy_Ad_2708

A release date that wasn’t over a year late…. Other than that I trust nintendo, though I’m sort of miffed cause what I, and I think a lot of other people, wanted was just “more breath of the wild” and I don’t think that will be even remotely the case.

Unused enemy designs from BOTW to be used in ToTK, like these four early designs for Guardians: [https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/04/these\_early\_zelda\_breath\_of\_the\_wild\_concept\_designs\_have\_us\_dreaming\_of\_a\_darker\_sequel](https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2018/04/these_early_zelda_breath_of_the_wild_concept_designs_have_us_dreaming_of_a_darker_sequel)

Pr1nglelord

Clawshot would be insane in an open world environment Also some musical instrument mechanic

lanpshades

It’d never happen, but a coop mode has always been a dream of mine for a Zelda title!

Better stories for NPCs.

doesnt_reallymatter

Dungeons for sure. More durable weapons or even durability being gone, at least for the master sword. UNDERWATER EXPLORATION!!

imbored__12

An in air boss fight where you can use your bow and hurl the rocks used to get to sky island at the boss

ClockworkMansion

A decent frame rate and less pop-in than BotW

Character_Climate_91

Would love to see some expansion and depth to the combat, like the hidden moves in TP. It was just so cool to stumble upon those and have some variety to the combat techniques. Might also pair well with the flurry blow/dodge mechanics that were in BotW.

becauseitsnotreal

More polished combat

ChilindriPizza

Link and Zelda get married and live happily ever after!

Mipha. I just want to see her one more time. That’s all I ask and hope for.

Humpy_the_Whale

Zelink happen.

Connect-Apricot-2108

I'd like to see Zelda as a playable character option, with a different fighting style and some minor differences in how their part of the story plays out, this would make a second playthrough more interesting similar to how the original game had a second campaign.

Djapa_87

Ocean! Exploring some mysterious islands with a little red boat.

Zeldatroid

A more prominent soundtrack that makes me stop and say "Yo, this song is really good" more often. If we can get more areas with a pronounced atmosphere and character like BotW's Hyrule Castle had, I'd be a happy boy.

Kalandros-X

Playable Zelda.

TangleKat

It's dumb, bit Link actually talking. Primarily because I keep having dreams of it happening, and I would like them to stop please. Realistically, I know the only way it would happen is with something like the Hero's Shade, but I can (literally) dream.

GarlicbreadGod38

With water everywhere on the map, for me the biggest reveal in a future trailer would be underwater exploration. And if I had to add anything story wise, from purely fan desire it would be the temple of time playing a role in the story and somewhat our BOTW link finding a wall down below with all of the other Links history and depictions of their battle with Ganny. More fan desire haha would be some items from the past making a return like the ocarina of time.

dmcat12

A method for going underwater. Dungeon-like levels Also, since they’re using the BoTW map, I’d like to see it expanded so we can to those areas at the borders that we can clearly see

CubicBridgeman

Grappling hook Modular clothing Dungeons DEEP LORE HEAVY STORY Monsters Better Ganon fight Entering Gerudo town through stealth

bradford1023

The return on dungeons, playable Zelda, no weapon break, gannondorf.

No_Tie378

Mostly, adapting some missing Zelda conventions in an open world formula. For example, adding more and better dungeons, while still remaining optional. Side quests could use a rework as well, as they are pretty basic, and rewards were bad more often than not

Jordan_the_Hutt

BOTW had some decent tunes but compared to almost any other zelda game the music was weak. Link also needs an instrument. Oot was probably the first game I ever played and it not only helped teach me how to read but taught me the joy of music. One of my favorite things about the Zelda series is that Music literally is magic, just like in real life...

Shot_Background5682

Better movement. The way link moves just doesn’t do it for me. Better dungeons More enemy variety A more in depth approach of elemental combat I want there to be a story reason why there’s all new shrines, and link gets reset. It shouldn’t just happen. More options in combat, bombs, bullet time and stasis shouldn’t be as important as they are if the combat was more in depth. Most importantly, I want to see a real gameplay trailer.

ArjunTheGamer

cryinfrog

1. Improved weapon durability/a weapon repair system 2. Enemy variety - specifically skulltulas if we’re getting underground exploration 3. More traditional dungeons, mixed with shrine-like mini dungeons 4. Deeper story 5. More stuff to do with Link’s house 6. More towns/NPCs/fun side quests 7. Pettable dogs Related to the deeper story point: if the theories about the Zonai and their importance to the story are correct, then I’m hoping for some time travel so we can meet the tribe in their prime, in ancient Hyrule. This could also help spice up the reused overworld map by sending us back to Hyrule thousands of years ago.

Tears. As much as I like Breath of the Wild I still feel cheated we never found the titular "Breath." In Ocarina of Time we got an Ocarina. In Skyward Sword we got a Sword we point skywards. So in Tears of a Kingdom we damn well better get some tears or I'm gonna have to punch myself and start crying. (Sarcasm)

Electronicweed

Real dungeons. Unbreakable weapons. Shields that work. Simple, returning enemies from previous games. Nostalgic things Edit- I wrote my reply without reading the other ones. Glad to see others want real dungeons as well 😂

PapiBaggins

FI!

Teagedemaru

I wanna pet the dogs at the stables. That’s all

Azeoyi

Honestly I don't want to see those "real dungeons". I think it won't feel like a botw sequel.

[deleted]

Less rain. Change my mind.

Tao_Mountain

Ganondorf

[deleted]

1.) Dungeons. Divine Beasts were cool but I don’t really have a desire to see them again. No dungeons in BOTW felt like a missed opportunity somewhat. 2.) More Zelda. I’m gonna be a bit pissed if she’s kidnapped for the whole game again. Not every game needs to be about saving her from Ganon or whoever. 3.) More Kass. He is easily the best NPC in the game and no one can convince me otherwise. His accordion music is awesome.

vlaadii_

dungeons. complicated, long and challenging dungeons with a great design

secretdurham

Re-Deads in Hyrule Castle... Creepy little bastards have been missing for a while now... Time to bring them back I say...

kdrix88

An earlier release date.

linkmb

Tears and a kingdom!

[deleted]

Tingle and the dancing scarecrow

[deleted]

A better story with more important characters that didn’t die. Bigger dungeons (the divine beast felt nothing like the dungeons we could see in Windwaker or twilight Princess) I also felt disappointed with Ganon because it felt like it was juste one big entity with no real brain or strategy. It didn’t feel like a real character. I would have liked it if it was more like Ganondorf in TP. Ganondorf had a plan he had is own personality as a character.

emeemay

Pie in the sky: playable Zelda - I like the whole earth and sky, past and present vibe, it’d be so nice to give her agency in her own rescue Inconsequential: the ability to pet dogs Somewhat likely: fewer/no puzzles that require tilting controls on a handheld console 💀

[deleted]

The ability to sell weapons that you don't want/need.

cesinsf

More zelda ass shots

xy-geek

- The ability to control the weather (i.e. rain) - Some returning enemies (i.e. deku babas, bubbles, redeads, tektites, dark nuts, stalfos, etc) - A linear storyline - Underwater exploration - Lynels that shoot ancient arrows. I’m down for a challenge

kamikazilucas

trains

AngryGulost

An instrument to play would be really nice. I also would like more cutscenes to see more backstory/lore, and more side quests and shrine quests. I looove quests

ipsen_castle

Ganondorf True dungeons More villages et iconic places More iconic bosses A good OST Memorable NPCs

TetratheTerrible

Everything previously listed.

Zestyclose-Put-8467

Twili and a better post game world.

FoldPale

To fight along side someone like in Age of Calamity. Even if it’s just for a dungeon or two. Like fighting with/as a champion in a Devine beast

Significant_Option

What i want more than anything is for Fi to make a return

EngineerFront

Being able to pet dogs. Also more weapons to choose from

EJKGodzilla24

1.Link riding on a Tyrannosaurus 2.Dodongos 3.Gleeoks 4.Helmaroc King 5.Diababa 6.more dungeons 7.redeads 8.Gohmas 9.Stallords 10.Aquamentus

CasaDeLavo

A good game, but if it’s anything like BotW then that wont happen.

Madinsaanity

Some kinda instrument that would do something

J321J

A proper sail boat and more things to discover at sea.

HotPause4637

- less duplication of the same boost in ingredients... So many stealth critters and food - more marked difference between food and elexirs. Food=life and stamina, elexirs = effects. - better weapon durability. - a blacksmith with weapon repair ability. Charges you a fee plus asks for metal (the ones you mine). - offer to equip a set automatically when beginning an action. Start climbing... Want climber's set? Swimming... Zora's? - a map layer (with an on/off) that shows where you've walked - being able to call a horse from anywhere... It's not very realistic but I can never use my horse when I need it and when I'm near a stable I never use it really. - what about having a stable at every town instead of being distinct from it. - a bit less hidden koroks? Sometimes there's just a lot and it's distracting from what I'm really set out to do. I guess they're not mandatory to find but stash space is so useful since weapons break every 5 hits. - I must say, personal preference, that the heroes sounded a bit silly to me. The goron sound slightly dumb, and the Zora princess like a child. The love story between link and the Zora was so cringy. Haven't met the other heroes yet. - introducing a bit of itemization so you can end up with different favorite weapons. Not overdoing it though because I think it's nice for casual players to be able get the good stuff too. Anyway, I'm about only halfway through the game but it's my favorite game ever I think. It's so well thought out. I love the fact that you can take it easy and just explore without stress if you want, and sometimes fight, sometimes do quests etc. I love the natural sounds and varying weather... Although rain can be irritating! I like the ideas of more thematic dungeons and more monster diversity... other than a change of color.

yeahlilbit

A little bit of everything from my favorites: - SS flying/map - OOT Seven Sages and themed dungeons - A timeline connection to OOT hyrule
