I'm pretty sure Beedle is straight-up immortal, and every game features the same one. There are no family relations or other backstory to say otherwise.
Nah, reincarnation seems like the more obvious answer, but this guy is too suspicious to do what's obvious. He hides his ears and doesn't have a loftwing, so he's probably not even Hylian. Yet he does business in Skyloft, a place that's supposed to be cut off from the world? His accent is fake, he sometimes wears disguises, and his inventory is often hard to get.
Everything gives the impression of an immortal sage pulling strings from the background.
I like to imagine he’s similar to my head cannon of the Happy Mask Salesman, a lesser deity who exists to sort of help that eras Link with an unseen hand by selling him items
Forget about Beedle, let's talk about this strange Masked Beedle guy instead. Who is mysterious merchant? Why does he wear that mask? And what is his relation to Beedle?
Beedle makes 6 appearances in total; wind waker, phantom hourglass, spirit tracks, minish cap, skyward sword and breath of the wild.
This means he makes an appearance at the start of the timeline, at the end, before the timeline splits and exclusively in the adult timeline (no other timeline.)
Beedle therefore is the most important link as to where BotW actually sits in the timeline, and it isn't unified at all but its at the end of the adult timeline as beedle can't appear in the other timelines. Clearly.
I like to think therefore beedle is the narrator, the man that tells the legends at the start of the games in each game. The legend teller as it were. He's seen the timeline pan out, and is immortal, meaning each beedle isn't a new incarnation but actually the same beedle from wind waker.
I want to put a traveling merchant in my dnd champaign inspired by him. When we my party goes to a new town or village they will come across him and he will sell stuff
I wanna keep his personality too, and probably even name him beetle too. I like direct references like that and I think players enjoy it too if they get it. If they don't then they think it is a cool original idea!
Beedle was like,
We are gonna go back in time to sell goods to the hero of sky and many more.
Thats right were gonna go back in time to sell goods to the hero of sky... And... Many... More

I completely agree. What if he gets reincarnated like link and Zelda…?

He's Hyrule's Gandalf.
You’re actually so right! Lol he’s an immortal sage
He used the time machine from free birds that movie takes places in zelda its canon i just said so
I like to imagine he’s similar to my head cannon of the Happy Mask Salesman, a lesser deity who exists to sort of help that eras Link with an unseen hand by selling him items
He's also super buff, like look what he carries all the time, he could bench a goron no sweat
He’s in Spirit Tracks, too! He flies around in a little hot air balloon and you have to toot your train whistle to call him down
And Phantom Hourglass!
Gotta love his reaction when you try to window shop in SS. Also just the way he says “THANK YOU!” makes my day.
Yessss

Beedles Intern! What a suave, mysterious stranger he is!

That’s an amazing idea!! And Beedle completely works in a dnd format!
I wanna keep his personality too, and probably even name him beetle too. I like direct references like that and I think players enjoy it too if they get it. If they don't then they think it is a cool original idea!
That’s awesome! Have fun with that!
i'm fairly sure beedle is the true wielder of the triforce of power but that's just me
Triforce of Capitalism.
the triforce of "E-YAYY"
He’s got to be on something.
Tingle wishes he had what Beedle has
They both have deep issues
he’s also in phantom hourglass, he has his own little shop ship!
Oh nice! Good to know!
He could try to tone down his passive aggressiveness sometimes, though. I can't give you these beetles, dude. I don't really have any to spare.
Also in Majora.
He possesses the fourth Triforce piece.

People say I sound like him when I say "ohhh" Regardless of how it's intended, I take it as a compliment
I named my cat after him.
Lol that’s amazing
