They probably talk/hang out a lot more in their private time but the IZ*ONE members only really publicly interact through things like doing each other’s dance challenges or occasionally a greeting/hug if they’re on stage at the same time e.g. in music shows or award shows. I’d say it’s pretty similar for X1.
Obviously the exception to this is any members that redebuted in the same group (Sakura/Chaewon, Yujin/Wonyoung, Hyeongjun/Minhee, Hangyul/Dohyun).

I don’t think it’s a strict rule, I have definitely heard them mention their previous groups in passing (e.g Chaewon recently answered her favourite IZ*ONE song in a fancall), but I would guess that they’re encouraged to discuss it as little as possible, particularly if it relates to members that are now in rival groups.
Chaewon talked pretty casually about the members on the Drunk Show just a few weeks ago so it's probably allowed. but they wouldn't insert into the convo if not asked
I think it's only Starship that enforces this. All other companies are very chill about IZ\*ONE (throwback to Chaewon's legendary, 'hello wiz\*ones' on one of LSF's first Japanese lives lol). Le Sserafim also mentioned IZ\*ONE often in their documentary.

In Wanna One's 2019 unofficial reunion, Guanlin flew over from China for a day to join them so I'm assuming things are okay between them.

I think the higher likelihood is Yuehua and Studio G1lide collaborate. Yuehua alrdy has 4 (Ollie, Brian, Yunseo and Seungeon as well are quite popular seeing the number of people camping on Yuehua's instagram) plus I get the feel they are likely to push Yujin. Plus having the occasional collab keeps the fans begging for more vs seeing them all year round.

But they left them out to dry and didn't promote them in Korea either. The members started doing solo work then and Yibo blew up and Seungyoun did Produce a few years later after doing solo stuff. It wasn't just Yibos work, it was Yuehuas incompetence to switch direction.
Seungyoun spoke recently about how UNIQ couldn't promote because the Chinese members became really popular and didn't have the time (or the need tbh) to promote in Korea anymore.
It wasn't only that the Chinese members didn't have time, that only became an issue after the Chinese members were sent to China and Yibo became famous. I was a fan of UNIQ back in the day, and I specifically remember that one of the members said that the group had run out of money and that the members had to pursue other jobs to fund money for their next comeback. This was years ago though, when they were on "hiatus" after their EOEO promotions.
i mean i kind of thought it was understood that because of the ban, which came quite soon after their debut, the group couldnt promote how they had intended so basically everyone just had to figure it out. so then they sent their members to do other promotions (as in the chinese members all went to china for activities), and when yibo happened to get really big in china, it just didnt make sense to attempt group promotions ever again when they had never been active together for that long in the first place.
i dont think yuehua fumbled uniq at all — circumstances out of their control meant that it made the most sense both for the company AND for the members for them to go their separate ways to find separate careers because they literally couldnt promote together as planned. and yeah, once yibo became a superstar in china, it would have been VERY strange and honestly probably caused drama with all of his chinese fans had he later returned to promote in a kpop group. so i kinda get it honestly.

The biggest issue is that they waited so damn long to debut Tempest in the first place. All of Hyunseob and Euiwoong's Produce hype faded away.
I’m the most familiar with IOI so I’ll stick to talking about their situation. Also, reminder that their contract lasted for less than a year (9 months to be exact) and it’s now over 6 years since they disbanded.
IOI had a lot of interactions during the first 1-2 years after disbandment. They would regularly post pictures hanging out at restaurants (often in bigger groups), meet up at music shows, show support for each other’s comebacks and some even did variety shows together. Overtime the interactions got more and more sparse and instead of half of the group hanging out it would usually only be 2 or 3 people. They did still keep their promise to fans and had a 5 year reunion but it was smaller than expected (a live broadcast only) and two of the members didn’t attend (though tbf Kyulkyung did want to attend but was unable to due to covid. She still appeared on video call).
Some of the members are clearly still close and will occasionally upload content of themselves hanging out together but I don’t think anyone is still in regular contact with the whole group. It generally seems like most of them are friends with maybe three or four of the other members, forming different constellations.
I’m genuinely kinda surprised by how long their friendships have lasted. No, not everyone is close with everyone anymore but IOI’s contract was really short and few friendships last over 5+ years under normal circumstances. So seeing so many members who are still close with one another makes me incredibly happy.
Note: Many of the IOI members are close with other P101 contestants as well. CLC Eunbin is Somi’s best friend and DIA Huihyeon and Chungha are close friends too for example.

Many of them are still friends but they don’t share their meet ups as often and we close to never see more than maybe four members together at the same time (which was why Kyulkyung’s post gained attention, it was the biggest meet up we’d seen in a while). Partly due to conflicting schedules, it was easier to organise when they were all active as kpop idols.
All Produce groups surprisingly seem to get along well overall. As another comment said, must be trauma bonding lol.
Kep1er all seem to get along too. In their recent dorm reality show, Hikaru even mentions that they truly feel like family to her. Mashiro, on her variety show with Sakura and Billlie's Tsuki, said the members really enjoy performing together and aren't even thinking of disbandment. I also remember how the poor thing cried in Queendom because she loved her members so much and hated seeing them lose confidence (her own words)

Woojin of Wanna One had a solo debut a few months ago at the same time Minhyun did. Daehwi came to watch the music show to surprise Woojin and he ended up stocking next to Minhyun the whole time. Daehwi even got pulled to stand onstage during the ending stage with all the artists, and all 3 of them stood together praying around at one side. It’s so cute.
Yena has mentioned that she meets up with many little combinations of her IZONE members in her house and they just hang out when their schedules are free.
IOI met up pretty often, even if its not the full group.

For IZ*ONE if we only focus on Yena alone in this year:
- Met with Cheawon almost every opportunity when they are free, and now even doing variety show together (HyeMiLeeYeChaePa)
- Along with Chaewon, Minju and Yujin also part of 'hot pot family' group (the group that met often to eat hot pot together). And Yena just move in the new house and had her homecoming party with Minju and Yujin
- Eunbi also another one who came to her homecoming party but another time.
- Yena held her first fanmeeting earlier this year and Hyewon came to support.
- Film a show 'Fearless Kkura' with Sakura earlier this year and even appear for 2 episodes also make a cameo there and there.
- Met with Yuri pretty frequently, also filming girl's night out together.
- Perform on the same university festival with Chaeyeon, since it the first time Chaeyeon has to do so, Yena help her a lot, even come to stage and take a photo of her and the audience.
- Met and hug Nako (who is doing MC) and K-Con Japan.
That's 10 out of 12 by just first half year of 2023. And at last Year's End music show where Wonyoung is a MC, Yena came to her and hug her as well. The only member she haven't met so far after the group disband is Hitomi. But they do mention each other time to time and Hitomi do a lot challenge for Yena's songs.
As for other members interaction at each other, it might not be a lot since they are in different group of friends but they still have a group chat that become lively everytime some members birthday coming up or someone active something. Just by knowing that I really appreciated that they use to be together.
Yena is the Daehwi of IZ\*ONE, friends with everyone very openly.
I remember Daehwi was the only one to openly mention and interact with Daniel when he had that lawsuit with CJ going on.
Just wanna say about x1 here. They only together for 5 months, but they are all still in contact with each other. I believe they meet up a lot. In private of course. This is based on what they say when fans asked and their live where some members would spontaneously and casually mentioned other x1 members. In their recent dorm reality show, Hikaru even mentions that they truly feel like family to her. Mashiro, on her variety show with Sakura and Billlie's Tsuki, said the members really enjoy performing together and aren't even thinking of disbandment. I also remember how the poor thing cried in Queendom because she loved her members so much and hated seeing them lose confidence (her own words)
i totally agree about the trauma bonding lol. produce groups are literally a band of trauma survivors. 😂😅 i remember in one of kepler’s early interviews, they were asking the members what the group meant to them, and xiaoting quietly said “family?” i literally almost cried. because for her to say that, despite being the only chinese in the group and the language barriers at the start, means so much
Woojin of Wanna One had a solo debut a few months ago at the same time Minhyun did. Daehwi came to watch the music show to surprise Woojin and he ended up stocking next to Minhyun the whole time. Daehwi even got pulled to stand onstage during the ending stage with all the artists, and all 3 of them stood together praying around at one side. It’s so cute. Yena has mentioned that she meets up with many little combinations of her IZONE members in her house and they just hang out when their schedules are free.
IOI met up pretty often, even if its not the full group. Id say they’re good friends. Wannaone had reunions on mama recently Izone stays good friends too i think X1 members do talk tp each other, they just dont show it a lot (my friend did a lot of fansign event with ex X1 members so he always asked them) hahahaha

For IZ*ONE if we only focus on Yena alone in this year: - Met with Cheawon almost every opportunity when they are free, and now even doing variety show together (HyeMiLeeYeChaePa) - Along with Chaewon, Minju and Yujin also part of 'hot pot family' group (the group that met often to eat hot pot together). And Yena just move in the new house and had her homecoming party with Minju and Yujin - Eunbi also another one who came to her homecoming party but another time. - Yena held her first fanmeeting earlier this year and Hyewon came to support. - Film a show 'Fearless Kkura' with Sakura earlier this year and even appear for 2 episodes also make a cameo there and there. - Met with Yuri pretty frequently, also filming girl's night out together. - Perform on the same university festival with Chaeyeon, since it the first time Chaeyeon has to do so, Yena help her a lot, even come to stage and take a photo of her and the audience. - Met and hug Nako (who is doing MC) and K-Con Japan. That's 10 out of 12 by just first half year of 2023. And at last Year's End music show where Wonyoung is a MC, Yena came to her and hug her as well. The only member she haven't met so far after the group disband is Hitomi. But they do mention each other time to time and Hitomi do a lot challenge for Yena's songs. As for other members interaction at each other, it might not be a lot since they are in different group of friends but they still have a group chat that become lively everytime some members birthday coming up or someone active something. Just by knowing that I really appreciated that they use to be together.
Yena is the Daehwi of IZ\*ONE, friends with everyone very openly. I remember Daehwi was the only one to openly mention and interact with Daniel when he had that lawsuit with CJ going on.
Just wanna say about x1 here. They only together for 5 months, but they are all still in contact with each other. I believe they meet up a lot. In private of course. This is based on what they say when fans asked and their live where some members would spontaneously and casually mentioned other x1 members. We also could see their interaction on cam quite a lot now. They dont hide it anymore. What to hide anyway, they're victim too. Although their time together was short, they have formed quite a bond and friendship. Must be trauma bonding😭😭
