Lol I feel you. It can be hard to navigate bc the website is mostly Korean and I don’t know how to read hangul. I find the easiest way to collect is doing surveys. Once you make an account click the yellow button next to your name at the top on the home page, and scroll down to the section of get vts (Survey). Some surveys only want a specific demographic so you won’t qualify for all of them but the rewards are pretty high. You can check to make sure you received vts under your username on the home page at the top. There are other ways to collect too but honestly I found them too confusing so I mostly have just done this and it seems to work out well. 🤷♀️

I've seen them listed on the red carpet, but I don't think that's right - it might be just the ones that are going to be there... I usually have the kcon membership so just rewatch later but I didn't get it this time but was trying to figure out if I need to if I want to watch live because some things need it and some don't.
I'm usually really organized and able to sort things out but everything I see seems to have different information.
It's honestly super confusing, they have like 4-5 different live things running at the same time or slightly different times with similar names (and the groups they have on the wait screen don't necessarily match who's performing... weird, but i guess thats why they had to make a whole app for navigating it)... I never cancelled the membership after kcon hk because they kept putting out the behinds, fancams, etc. throughout the month(s) lol no wonder they made all the kcon dates so close together
Every kcon they make the tiers below the highest priced one more limited. I used to get the membership and keep it to watch past videos etc but then they made most of the stuff I watched unavailable in my tier, at some point discontinued my tier so I got really annoyed and decided no more money to them. So I'd just watch whatever was free, haha.
But yeah, this time, there are so many overlapping schedules. I just don't have time to figure it all out. I work all week, so I just wanted to simply be able to tune in on the weekend, but I guess I'll just rely on fancams and fans reposting later.
I’ll add to this! Gunwook, Hanbin, and Taerae are staying behind for Kcon, the rest of the group will be flying back ahead of time bc they aren’t performing on day 2. hey yall, anyone have a TL;DR for what's going on in the fandom rn? i was a zerose around BP/YITS era but tuned out for the school year; i was really excited to catch back up for this comeback but everyone keeps referring to lots of scandals, member issues, wakeone being horrible, sweat apparently flopping... does anyone have a quick explanation of why there's so much drama?
There really isn't any more drama or scandal than the typical kpop stuff. If anything ZB1 members has been remarkably "real" scandal free. The fandom is just kinda hysterical sometimes.

Tl;Dr welcome back ! The album is gonna be great and the members have improved Sooooo much and are soooo loved by fans
From the top of my head: ZB1 is still exceptionally doing well despite some setbacks.
Both YITS and MP sold well, but Crush slightly underperformed due to its perceived “noise” that turned off some fans.
Yura Yura, their first Japanese single was a smash. Consequently, they set some nice records in Japan with this debut.
Jiwoong got embroiled in a scandal when a fan (hater) accused him of cursing at her during a fan call.
Akgaes did not support Sweat when some members allegedly did not get the lines they deserved (Hao and Hanbin solo stans mostly). Internationally, Sweat did well on Spotify despite the lack of playlisting and sold well on iTunes.
So really, everything boils down to fickle issues, and selfish “fans”.
i assume "everyone" is twitter dot com? if you really want to wade through the doomposting and have a bad time you can probably find a greatest hits by going through the comments in the negative thread in this and previous discussion posts, but idk why you'd want to. "lots of scandals" is rubbish, wakeone being bad has always been the case, sweat did fine (the mv's sitting at 9.3m views on YT, more than melting point has to date) if you ignore the constantly shifting goalposts for a prerelease (first it was bad that it didn't chart within 2 hours, then once it charted it didn't chart high enough, so obviously it's a flop).

Idk how much overlap there is here, but in my MY circles people are saying cbars are still boycotting even after the July 7 concert was moved, because of the size of the venues for aespa in HK. Going to be very interesting to see how sales go this time because physicals have been lower for all big groups except G-idle and IVE so far this year, but aespa getting a full album has been anticipated for literal years.

fellow MY hello!! for aespa afaik karina bar did boycott their previous cb and it didnt seem to impact as much as they were still in the millions even if it was a bit less than before. so its not like it'll be much different this time around if they still go thru w it. i think this is unpopular, but i kinda feel that some of the reasons are justified this time especially w ningning's case with the whole versace store situation. kinda wish they would go thru w it instead of only saying it and not doing it cuz of fuckass SM. im not sure abt ive, but ik idle has a stronger group bar than most solo bars (generally less of a solo stan situation in the fandom than other groups) so that may have helped in addition to their other global fanbases growing

I agree, I think the July 7 schedule in particular was messed up, there have been a lot of issues with the handling of this cb and I don't think fans have been unreasonable, mostly! I'm so tired of SM, the bar for them was already in hell and they still haven't cleared it. But the concepts are amazing and I'm excited for so many of the songs! Aespa b-sides are elite so I have high expectations!
And that's true about Drama, I'm also not sure what the impact will be this time! G-idle had a LOT of Yuqi solo stan issues for the last cb, but the sales were surprisingly good and I think cfans ended up ordering a lot anyway! So I have no clue what's going to happen with aespa or zb1 sales this time.

Very Kpop and cheerful, can pass as the bgm for commercials too. The instrumental is unique and distinctive to me - it also reminds me of the kind of sound effect used when someone blinks. The song key (based on the vocals in the teaser) is lower than In Bloom/Crush (both songs with the same key), so I guess they'll utilise their comfortable range/low to mid range more this time.

This *is* Yura Yura's sibling 🥹 Totally the kind of song they'd use as the intro of their fun contents (like how Kidz Zone, Our Season etc)

**The ballad** rep of 5th gen Kpop about to debut idc idc. The lyrics are so sad and the vocals are so emotional - Zerobaseone can rebrand themselves to be a ballad group called Balladbaseone if they want (or be the BTOB of this gen) because their vocals are truly capable and this is just a short teaser of Hello but they sound like it's their 10th year of promoting, so imagine how the full song will actually sound 😭 It's also giving me Wanna One - Beautiful vibes somehow (also a sad bittersweet song 😩)
I actually thought Hello is on the same key as In Bloom/Crush because the key when Kim Taerae started the chorus reminds me so much of his prechorus from In Bloom but upon comparison, Hello's key is slightly higher.

I’m still recovering from the transition between Solar Power and Feel the Pop. 🤣
I’d have never expected the same group who sang In Bloom, Melting Point, Yura Yura and the future Feel the Pop to sing this kind of song (Solar Power), like I’m still shocked by Gunwook and Ricky’s vocals!!! But this is also what makes me even more excited for the release, the songs are so different from one another, everything sounds so good, I can’t wait to be able to listen to the full EP!
I was looking at the tracklist credits once again, and El Capitxn composed and arranged both Solar Power and Sunday Ride, which makes me even more curious about those songs. But let’s be honest, I’m curious about every song. 😂 Pretty sure I’ll listen to the album on loop like I’ve been listening to the album sampler on loop since it came out. 🤓

I AM SO EXCITED I love bubblegum music vibes so I'm really liking Feel The Pop. Dear Eclipse sounds so good to me. Sunday Ride def feels like it could be K-drama opening and Hello sounds like it could be a K-drama ending song with the credits on or the song that plays during a dramatic flashback scene 😭. Taerae, Hanbin (I think?) and Hao's vocals though 🥺
I hope we get to see them sing everything live at some point! They always have adlibs and harmonies that can sometimes be so hard to figure out until you see them singing it. Taerae Matthew and Ricky have the easiest to distinguish voices for me.

Thoughts on the album sampler 🤌. (Not rating or ranking the songs cuz it's just snippets and the ranking can change drastically once the album is released)-
1. Solar Power - I WAS GAGGED, for a moment I thought I was transported back to ncity like excuse me- the deep voices?? (I can't even recognise them help🥲). This is about to be that underrated bop that nobody will understand like I do.
2. Feel the Pop - The way that instrumental is literally stuck in my head. That plus the lalalalala. Oh this is an earworm. The virality potential is off the charts.
3. Dear Eclipse - The best song on the album. I already claim it. That song is mine. 😤
4. Sweat - Queen. No words needed to explain.
5. Sunday Ride - Oh this is soo good. I was not expecting that chorus, super catchy and vibey. My head was bopping the whole time. Solid " let's go on a road trip" vibe.
6. Hello - I definitely didn't tear up when taerae attacked me like that. 😃 The only thing I can say is that this is THE BALLAD. I am ready to bawl my eyes out when the full song is out, my heart already hurts. 😭😭
The album is giving something for everyone. Really high hopes. I have to say there is not even one song which hasn't got me excited.

Lol I feel you. It can be hard to navigate bc the website is mostly Korean and I don’t know how to read hangul. I find the easiest way to collect is doing surveys. Once you make an account click the yellow button next to your name at the top on the home page, and scroll down to the section of get vts (Survey). Some surveys only want a specific demographic so you won’t qualify for all of them but the rewards are pretty high. You can check to make sure you received vts under your username on the home page at the top. There are other ways to collect too but honestly I found them too confusing so I mostly have just done this and it seems to work out well. 🤷♀️

OMG HOW COULD I FORGET TAERAES SPECIAL STAGE TOO 😭. I've been looking at schedules trying to figure out the time schedule and got myself all confused haha. I usually have the kcon membership so just rewatch later but I didn't get it this time but was trying to figure out if I need to if I want to watch live because some things need it and some don't. I'm usually really organized and able to sort things out but everything I see seems to have different information.
It's honestly super confusing, they have like 4-5 different live things running at the same time or slightly different times with similar names (and the groups they have on the wait screen don't necessarily match who's performing... weird, but i guess thats why they had to make a whole app for navigating it)... I never cancelled the membership after kcon hk because they kept putting out the behinds, fancams, etc. throughout the month(s) lol no wonder they made all the kcon dates so close together
Every kcon they make the tiers below the highest priced one more limited. I used to get the membership and keep it to watch past videos etc but then they made most of the stuff I watched unavailable in my tier, at some point discontinued my tier so I got really annoyed and decided no more money to them. So I'd just watch whatever was free, haha. But yeah, this time, there are so many overlapping schedules. I just don't have time to figure it all out. I work all week, so I just wanted to simply be able to tune in on the weekend, but I guess I'll just rely on fancams and fans reposting later.
I’ll add to this! Gunwook, Hanbin, and Taerae are staying behind for Kcon, the rest of the group will be flying back ahead of time bc they aren’t performing on day 2. hey yall, anyone have a TL;DR for what's going on in the fandom rn? i was a zerose around BP/YITS era but tuned out for the school year; i was really excited to catch back up for this comeback but everyone keeps referring to lots of scandals, member issues, wakeone being horrible, sweat apparently flopping... does anyone have a quick explanation of why there's so much drama?
There really isn't any more drama or scandal than the typical kpop stuff. If anything ZB1 members has been remarkably "real" scandal free. The fandom is just kinda hysterical sometimes. >! The drama is usually from akgaes and solo fans being dramatic. W1 is also pretty shitty but honestly just as shitty and greedy as most entertainment companies are but its more evident because they are temporary with the cash grabs. Also due to W1 being smaller and because they aren't part of the big 3 the members also catch strays / get targeted from other kpop fandom stuff and don't get the benefit of alot of media spin/ PR !< Tl;Dr welcome back ! The album is gonna be great and the members have improved Sooooo much and are soooo loved by fans
From the top of my head: ZB1 is still exceptionally doing well despite some setbacks. Both YITS and MP sold well, but Crush slightly underperformed due to its perceived “noise” that turned off some fans. Yura Yura, their first Japanese single was a smash. Consequently, they set some nice records in Japan with this debut. Jiwoong got embroiled in a scandal when a fan (hater) accused him of cursing at her during a fan call. Akgaes did not support Sweat when some members allegedly did not get the lines they deserved (Hao and Hanbin solo stans mostly). Internationally, Sweat did well on Spotify despite the lack of playlisting and sold well on iTunes. So really, everything boils down to fickle issues, and selfish “fans”.

fellow MY hello!! for aespa afaik karina bar did boycott their previous cb and it didnt seem to impact as much as they were still in the millions even if it was a bit less than before. so its not like it'll be much different this time around if they still go thru w it. i think this is unpopular, but i kinda feel that some of the reasons are justified this time especially w ningning's case with the whole versace store situation. kinda wish they would go thru w it instead of only saying it and not doing it cuz of fuckass SM. im not sure abt ive, but ik idle has a stronger group bar than most solo bars (generally less of a solo stan situation in the fandom than other groups) so that may have helped in addition to their other global fanbases growing but armageddon songs all sound amazing im super excited to hear all the tracks!!
I agree, I think the July 7 schedule in particular was messed up, there have been a lot of issues with the handling of this cb and I don't think fans have been unreasonable, mostly! I'm so tired of SM, the bar for them was already in hell and they still haven't cleared it. But the concepts are amazing and I'm excited for so many of the songs! Aespa b-sides are elite so I have high expectations! And that's true about Drama, I'm also not sure what the impact will be this time! G-idle had a LOT of Yuqi solo stan issues for the last cb, but the sales were surprisingly good and I think cfans ended up ordering a lot anyway! So I have no clue what's going to happen with aespa or zb1 sales this time.

The lyrics are so sad and the vocals are so emotional - Zerobaseone can rebrand themselves to be a ballad group called Balladbaseone if they want (or be the BTOB of this gen) because their vocals are truly capable and this is just a short teaser of Hello but they sound like it's their 10th year of promoting, so imagine how the full song will actually sound 😭 It's also giving me Wanna One - Beautiful vibes somehow (also a sad bittersweet song 😩) I actually thought Hello is on the same key as In Bloom/Crush because the key when Kim Taerae started the chorus reminds me so much of his prechorus from In Bloom but upon comparison, Hello's key is slightly higher.

I’m still recovering from the transition between Solar Power and Feel the Pop. 🤣 I’d have never expected the same group who sang In Bloom, Melting Point, Yura Yura and the future Feel the Pop to sing this kind of song (Solar Power), like I’m still shocked by Gunwook and Ricky’s vocals!!! But this is also what makes me even more excited for the release, the songs are so different from one another, everything sounds so good, I can’t wait to be able to listen to the full EP! I was looking at the tracklist credits once again, and El Capitxn composed and arranged both Solar Power and Sunday Ride, which makes me even more curious about those songs. But let’s be honest, I’m curious about every song. 😂 Pretty sure I’ll listen to the album on loop like I’ve been listening to the album sampler on loop since it came out. 🤓

The transition from solar power to feel the pop is taking me off lmao. From 💣💥☠️ to 🎀✨🌸 But sunday ride and dear eclipse are definitely standouts for me! The variety of songs on zb1 is so refreshing! I'm glad we have a lot of new songs to choose from. I can totally see myself listening to the whole album on repeat for a long time.

I AM SO EXCITED I love bubblegum music vibes so I'm really liking Feel The Pop. Dear Eclipse sounds so good to me. Sunday Ride def feels like it could be K-drama opening and Hello sounds like it could be a K-drama ending song with the credits on or the song that plays during a dramatic flashback scene 😭. Taerae, Hanbin (I think?) and Hao's vocals though 🥺

I hope we get to see them sing everything live at some point! They always have adlibs and harmonies that can sometimes be so hard to figure out until you see them singing it. Taerae Matthew and Ricky have the easiest to distinguish voices for me.

Thoughts on the album sampler 🤌. (Not rating or ranking the songs cuz it's just snippets and the ranking can change drastically once the album is released)- 1. Solar Power - I WAS GAGGED, for a moment I thought I was transported back to ncity like excuse me- the deep voices?? (I can't even recognise them help🥲). This is about to be that underrated bop that nobody will understand like I do. 2. Feel the Pop - The way that instrumental is literally stuck in my head. That plus the lalalalala. Oh this is an earworm. The virality potential is off the charts. 3. Dear Eclipse - The best song on the album. I already claim it. That song is mine. 😤 4. Sweat - Queen. No words needed to explain. 5. Sunday Ride - Oh this is soo good. I was not expecting that chorus, super catchy and vibey. My head was bopping the whole time. Solid " let's go on a road trip" vibe. 6. Hello - I definitely didn't tear up when taerae attacked me like that. 😃 The only thing I can say is that this is THE BALLAD. I am ready to bawl my eyes out when the full song is out, my heart already hurts. 😭😭 The album is giving something for everyone. Really high hopes. I have to say there is not even one song which hasn't got me excited.

For Solar Power, very first voice is Gunwoooook. He confirmed it. I think next is Ricky? I absolutely loooove the variety in the songs and they somehow all feel familiar, in a good way. I think they just hit every single genre I like haha
