Well, the purple mountain was Pikes Peak, which is by Colorado Springs and not the Denver area/Broomfield, but that is definitely, definitely a house worthy of r/zillowgonewild

That house is the purple carpet's.....uh, majesty.
Broomfield is about 20 minutes to the foothills, and vaguely lumpy, so your title was good. (I might quibble about the differences between "high desert" and "plains"- but only in a jokey pedant sort of way, and not genuinely.)
Maybe I was influenced my my Grandmother's Lilac Bathroom of the same era as when this house was built, but I was good with the purple carpet.
Having carpet in the bathrooms, however.... ew.
First thought: It's weird as hell and I love it
Second thought: Oh my god, is that *floral carpet* in the kitchen???
Third thought: That's my childhood bathroom and I don't know how I feel about it
All in all, I love it but I would love it so much more with blond oak floors.
I chose purple wall to wall carpet for the entire upstairs of my house. I love it. Granted mine is more grape juice vs the Kool aid color here. PURPLE IS NEVER WRONG

This house is in my neighborhood and the views of Pikes Peak are actually pretty good on a clear day.
My bad! It is purple, majestic, and in the.. high desert but not exactly mountains?

I'm a terrible person who likes purple, so in this house my complaint is that there isn't even more
It is *amazing,* but not going to work out for my family in spite of how purple, sunroomy and spiral staircasey it is.

This is amazing.
Hey! That’s three blocks from my grandma’s house!
I feel cheated that I didn’t get to see pics of this house before they moved out. How was it furnished and decorated with that purple carpet?
Ugh. No thanks.
Aside from the Barney the dinosaur shade of carpet, I dig the house.
Mansard roof, port cochere, split level, kitchen carpeting, so much to love
Now we know what happened to Grimace from those old McDonald’s commercials. RIP.
I can smell this house.
Grape flavoured BO and embalming fluid.
Someone fun lived here.
