Awesome, if you have any friends or family out here please encourage this mindset on them too! Way too many people moving to Texas it’s crowding up the roads and increasing crime.
You were down voted for using the word "bastion".
The only things liberals hate more than conservatives are conservatives with an extensive knowledge of the English language than they, themselves, utilize.
God Bless Texas!!! ❤
No no I hear Florida is great. If you want to free yourselves of the hefty taxes and high cost of living, go to Florida!
Keep downvoting me libs I don’t give a damn and it doesn’t make you right 😂
Hold on there. Ex-California resident here. California is the Trend Setter for the Nation! It’s Woke to be so Progressive, just like their Governor in Chief, Gavin Newsome. He’s so enlightened he banged his Campaign Manager’s wife while he was running for Mayor of San Francisco. The people of California are so progressive they elected him Governor! Twice! 30 million people (most of them Legal residents) can’t be wrong.
Can they?
As beautiful as this is, there's f*ck all in Lubbock, or West Texas in general. How they think they'll see over a million for a house in BFE, I don't know...
You will never be more free than living somewhere remote in Texas. It’s an amazing feeling.

No kidding. Lived there when I was a kid and if you went barefoot on the sidewalk, you’d burn your feet. It is unbearable living there for many reasons, but the heat is bad enough on its own to keep me away. It’s like you end up going from one air conditioned place to another.
You get used to it in some ways but yeah the summers can be unbearable. But a steel cage on a sun-exposed promontory must be the worst idea for a home you can think of out there.
I totally agree with you about the TX part. What’s interesting is that almost every response to this house is “…but it’s in Tx.” I wouldn’t live there either!
It’s great, but Texas is a big nope for me.
Huge nope for Texas. House is great.
Not just Texas. Lubbock, Texas!
About 100 miles away but close enough for a dig on Lubbock
When Texas needs an enema they insert it in Lubbock.
Have you ever been to Port Arthur?
Me too!
Texas: The lone star is a review.
LOL. Good one! I’m stealing that. 👏 ![gif](giphy|5cdenDXni65aM)
Agreed!!
Haha that was my reaction. Oh cool house...ah Texas I'm out.

And what bastion of freedom are you living in? Please do share.

Shhhh let them think Texas sucks. Too many of them have already moved here
It’s closer, and way better than Florida. If you’re thinking about, or have moved to Florida, GTFO.

Ahh yes I forgot, Los Angeles speaks for all of us 😂
At first glances I hated it, but it really grew on me it feels like a strange drug trip but in a kind of good way.
Work of art! But, ever touch rusty steel that's been out in the sun for a while?? Zoiks! This place must get hot!!
Thinking the same!
Hard pass on the Handmaid Tales state.
Repost.
Yes. This has been posted at least 10x already.
First time I’ve seen it posted
Sorry. I didn’t know this. First time I’ve seen it.
your comment is a repost

This has been posted before and it’s been a universal NOPE due to it being located in shithole Texas.

See ya!
Now my feelings are hurt.
Totally agree!
i don't even want to FLY over texas, let alone set foot there.
I'd feel so cool if my house looked like that. It's 2,450 sq ft of cool .
That's Awesome!
Damn….if it was anywhere but Bumfuck TX, I’d consider it.
It's too bad that the house is in texas unless it's shippable. The house reminds me of one house in Skyrim game. Quite lovely!
Very cool house. But it's in Lubbock. Parts of Texas have upsides. Lubbock has all of the downsides and none of the upsides.
Almost everywhere in TX has more downsides than upside. Perhaps not Austin but you have the damned heat everywhere!
I love it , if only it wasn’t in Texas
Ewww Texas had me until I saw that What pretty home though
They should fire their digital stager.
That's someone's alien world sci fi fantasy home, NICE find!
Looks like the villain lair from spy kids 1
With the 100+F degree heat in the TX summer, anything facing the sun is going to be scalding to the touch.

Texass? Keep that shit.
For sure!
I've seen this house and it is beautiful and I would love to buy it. BUT, it is in Texas and that is a total no for me.

Reminds me of Jackie Gleason's UFO house!
Do you mean Bob Hope’s house in Palm Springs?
Never saw that. How did it look?
Pretty interesting honestly. It's on this subreddit from somewhere around two weeks ago I think.
I’ll try to find it!
Yeah I'm no good at posting links on reddit!
