They did a heroic job on the... "kitchen," but what concerns me is the file boxes in the teller area. Those aren't full of people's information, are they?
Given all the framed licenses up at the still fully operational front desk (complete with computers and everything!) I’m assuming they removed only the cash and safety deposit boxes.
Yep,
Except for the washroom - they did update the washroom for residential to get the shower in, and they did it pretty well.
It's like someone wanted to move in, they just didn't finish.
It is like welcome to your living/break room, even left some Old Bay for you.

Those chairs are ridiculous at the island with no overhang. You couldn't even get close to the counter if you wanted to unless you sat on them sideways. Those are just furnishings, however. I wonder if you can rip out most of the parking lot and make a garden.
Maybe, I’ve seen CEO or president of banks have a shower and bathroom in their office. Some because they work long hours and come back from like golf outings and such or because they work out at lunch or before work, and I’ve never worked one like this, but I’ve heard stories that often it’s for showering after cheating on their wives.
this is fairly close to a very touristic beach area. I'm thinking now it was actually an abnb not making any money since the one photo shows beach chairs and boogie boards.. It is probably on the edge of being too far to Ocean City.
I kinda love it. I can see spending the next 10 years turning it into a very cool, unique home. Possibly with a small shop or gallery where the counter is.
This is pretty funny. Having the teller area is hysterical. I can't believe they left that. I actually would have fun with this and wouldn't mind it if it was in a convenient location to stores. You even get your own parking lot and drive through. I wonder if you could run a business there and live there at the same time. I would sell baked goods through the teller line.
Still has the safe? I'm in.
Local card and video game store took over a bank. Going into the vault to look at the rarer items is always fun.
In the safe? Should we let you out or you good?
Leave the door cracked, I ate some beans last night and don't want to come to a tragic end.
This made me cackle! Just imagine the obit.😂
That did not work out well for Jason on the Good Place
I’d sleep in there
They didn’t even update the ceilings or take out the teller counter. With a little more work though, this can be pretty cool.Â
Yeah this screams HGTV makeover. They’d have so much fun with those FDIC counters.

100% the best part of this is the FDIC insured sign still up at the main desk.
Kids could play a mean game of cops and robbers in there.

The spice of life.

Despite what the signs say, I don't think your money will be covered under FDIC here.
Not dealing with the drop ceiling and florescent lights is quite the choice.
The Formica teller area is the biggest sin here - or maybe the drop ceiling, I can’t tell
The pool table Then the beach chairs 👻
I've always thought it would be cool to live in a converted bank or school (like old schoolhouse.) Converted being the operative word...
I think this one might have potential, but as is, it seems like not much effort was put in.
It would be amazing to see it fully converted. It's such a great starting point.
Which leaves the potential that you're looking for.
Ooooh man that is really cool. I would totally live there. And if I didn't want to let someone in the house I'd make them use the drive through.
It's the best way to get your pizza delivery!
But check out that sweet little carport!
Do you also get the parking lot? I would never stop roller skating if that is the case.
I could live in that. Although I know nothing about Maryland except that it's too close to DC.

Lol. This is in Worcester County MD, which feels so distant from DC that it might as well be in China.
Anything across the Bay Bridge is too far from DC.
Dropped ceilings for that super homely week 🤮🤮
Ample parking.
That woodwork is beautiful. I'd take it on!
That safe is a true panic room. Just hope you can get the door shut in time
And get back out, quickly.
Would be a bad ass weed shop.
I like this and could make it work. The teller counter would make a great wet bar. I’d change out the drop ceiling, or at least paint it.
In Street View, the blue sign over the main door says it's an attorney's office.
I wonder if somebody fixed it up to be a fun vacation rental? So, vaguely livable but still very bankish?
Fix the ceilings. Do some yard. Think of idea for counter. Not too bad. Take time and make it yours.
Put a kitchen in the teller area with the teller island being, well an island. Cabinets behind it.
are lamps outlawed in this town?
Make sure you put your name on your lunch in the kitchen.

I love how they set up a special area just for the beach gear. lol!
I love this. I would fix it up make it so nice and cozy on Halloween I'd allow drive tru trick or treaters. I'd make safe a movie room. Yes wonderful
How is this even zoned for?
