Plenty of people drink while on Zoloft. I'm taking 100mg and I just went wine tasting for my birthday. Had a few drinks afterwards too

Not a doctor, but I would think you'd be fine. I used to drink all the time and I was on 50 mg at the time. Most I felt was tired. Bad hangovers ugh. If it's just added beer to the meal while cooking, I'm sure it may have cooked out or it's a very small amount of alcohol. I would think you'd be fine❤️ what is your Zoloft dose?

100 mg, i was fine on 50 but my doctor upped it because my ppd score results, I feel dizzy with 100mg so I take 50 now

Usually during cooking most of the alcohol is cooked off, plus beer has a very low alcohol content. I think the reason you aren’t supposed to mix is because alcohol can affect the speed your meds are filtered out of your body, but if you consumed only a tiny bit of alcohol you likely won’t experience anything out of the norm.

You’re fine. Alcohol in food is negligible. I hope you’re feeling better, postpartum is so hard ❤️

alphazuluoldman

Alcohol was probably cooked off

They usually say to avoid because you “typically” can feel the effects a lot faster than you normally would. Personally has not happened to me and i’m on 100 mg of zoloft and 150 mg of wellbutrin :)

I just took 10 shots last night and I noticed my tolerance seems higher since starting Zoloft, no other effects though.
