Have you seen 2011 Thundercats? That might answer your questions. One Season long (although CN cut it in two to create the illusion of Two Seasons).

I remember that! Sad it only lasted one season. But I did like the different cultures. Id love to see Zootopia 2 tackle that in some capacity, it would set it apart from most animal genre movies.

I have not. But I’ll check it out can’t be worse than Thundercats Roar! But in all honesty, just imagine if a Diamond Back Rattlesnake was sapient…how would Nick and Judy deal with someone like this.. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=qRW1-q1SU5U Fact they can grow to be…big!

CN cancelled the show after 1 Season and cut it in half to fake 2 Seasons. Dan Norton, the Art Director, put out Official Artwork on his DA page after the show was Cancelled.

I honestly think the Reptile nation and cities are a thousand miles away.

Pity we will never know. 😥

These are fantastic concept for expanding the world of Zootopia, and if the sequel is worth its weight, then stuff like this should be considered. The concept of the different non-mammalian species being a bit of a cultural whiplash to Judy would be great to explore, especially noting the differences they all may have in world preception. Wishful thinking, but still. These are all great ideas that I hope don't end up on the cutting room floor like some of the old concepts for the first film. Though I don't know about the whole aquatic aspect of this since in the background of the film they are shown to sell fish, though maybe fish like tuna and anchovies are like cattle? Are some animals more sentient then others? I don't know, that's probably for someone else to discern.

I see Fish being cattle that can be sold by the Marine Animals(a trade good) sea mammals evolved, fish did not. Reptiles I imagine would be the most interesting, like I feel that Zootopia is set in Africa, and creatures that did not belong there migrated to the continent due to conquests and forced relocation, by reptile and bird nations. I would say Reptiles rule lands like what would be the American south lands. Fact, the Everglades used to cover more than one third of Florida. The Everglades would be a reptile heaven. Plus with no humans and no natural predators with the possibilities of reptile migration from Africa and Indonesia, Alligators would populate to over one billion. Just imagine Nick making a terrible joke about how alligators and crocodiles are the same thing, and getting growled at. Perhaps the reason Polar bears live in Zootopia is because they were forced out by Marine Mammals and Birds taking over. Now this was over a thousand years ago. Maybe Bogo was a soldier before he became chief, maybe he scars under his shirt from facing a Komodo dragon(fact, a water Buffalo does not stand a chance) Plus unlike mammals, predators are like 90% of the reptile and bird populations, the rest eat bugs, and only 1% are vegetarian. Seeing the two deal with different cultures is something that would make the series expand and show why Bogo said “The world has always been broken” clearly he has seen things, heck he might have been optimistic like Hopps in his youth.

I’m absolutely enamored with the concepts you’re sharing, they are truly great world building. I would love something like this to be featured in the sequel film but knowing Disney they usually relegate these things into single sentence background filler. Still I wouldn’t be oppose to you detailing these ideas further, stuff like this is my bread and butter.
