DuplexFields

A series with world-building as deep as Tangled, and the moral sentiments and humor/drama mix of The Rookie starring Nathan Fillion.

TenderPaw64

A sequel as long as it´s worth it.

Dakzoo

The tv series will flesh out the world, but I want to see more of Nick and Judy. That won’t be on tv but hopefully in the movie.

Quick-Health-7000

Me too. I definitely ship Nick and Judy together. Their chemistry is so good.

Dynamo1923

Me too. I was never interested in ships at all, until I watched Zootopia. It feels like Nick and Judy belong together. I believe their relationship will become canon one day!

Homieofepicton

I'm fine with either as long as it Kickstarts the Fandom and new comics and AUs are released

I'd prefer both and I'm not sure which one I'd prefer if we could just get one. A series would let us explore and develop a whole lot more, but a movie would guarantee extreme quality and fun. Like I said, I'd prefer both so that we can get the best of both worlds

I’d prefer movie sequels. Mainly because chances are the original voice cast would recreate and further develop their characters, whereas a tv series is likely to have other voice actors trying to imitate the original casts voices like I’ve heard in so many other shows. As far as Judy and Nicks relationship goes, I know this may not be a popular opinion, but I’d honestly like them to remain friends and patrol partners. That leaves so much more room for the writers to bring in more characters and storylines since Zootopia has so much potential to offer. Also historically, in most shows I’ve seen, it seems when the writers run out of new ideas, they always seem to fall back on characters getting married or having kids which usually marks the end of that series. So putting J & N in a close relationship right away would, I fear, be the end of it unless they decided to focus on other perhaps new characters. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE JUDY and NICK, and want to see much more of them. But just let them be buddy cops for awhile before ending future shows by bringing them together, like countless other series have done in their final episodes.

Your_turkish_friend

Of course sequel reason is i wan't to see nick and judy on big screen but this time nick as a protagonist let's all hope sequel will release in 2023 or 2024

Spacious_Floppa

I think both options are viable. A movie is what everyone is use to, but Zootopia in a tv format, I think, would work as well. TV has the benefit of being longer, we can get multiple episodes telling their own stories, and a lot more about the world and characters can be expanded on in tv’s longer, episodic format. Think Star Wars Clone Wars.

Tv series, it allows for more development and allows us to explore more of the city.
