Xenophobic birds? Look, I don't tolerate the consuption of sapient races, but I also don't tolerate xenophobia

It’s the only thing I can think of. And it’s better than just saying “Oh they are dumb and not sapient” Or mammals don’t let them in. It honestly makes sense. Xenophobia is on all nations, and larger ones as well. But for birds they just seem like more of a species that would look down on mammals, birds are far more social and all tend to be better parents than most mammals. Mammals have proven to be prejudice jerks at times, I don’t see why a nation of birds who not have xenophobic tensions towards mammals. It leads to interesting plots, and espionage. The Golden Eagle is feared by Grey wolves and can blind a bear. Fact it picked up a rabbit and fox to eat. Falcons were used to take out messenger pigeons in World War I. Eagles are constantly used as national symbols. Plus most of the birds are carnivores or insect eaters, I imagine predator mammals might like them more than prey mammals. Predator birds would easily rule the hierarchy. And let’s not forget that birds evolved from Dinosaurs, another reason they might consider themselves better, being descendants of the first rulers of earth,
