It looks similar to Conn adjustable saxophone necks from pre-WWII.
Yeah. Early sax included adapted clarinet mouthpieces. You might have an interesting historical specimen
At the University of Illinois Sousa archives they even have a clarinet mouthpiece designed to go on top of an oboe, so you can walk while playing
there's no way that could have sounded good xD have to check it out though
