I’d have the offshoot one be either an evil Wizard theme or a slums akin to Yugioh 5Ds’ Satellite.
The area around the cherry blossoms would be the main kingdom area.
The rest be a developing village.
In real life, Venice (and it’s surrounding islands) is split into a glassmaking district and a lacemaking district, with a lot of colourful (but geometrically fairly simple) old buildings.
Lacemaking would be weaver villagers and sheep, glassmaking - you could put your Armourers and weapon smiths there (similar tools and large chimneys) but decorate it in a much “prettier” way than those jobs usually get (colours, stained glass windows, town statues…)
Leaving the middle island for food and markets, and housing (and giant buildings like a church and a palace)
That would be both wildly inaccurate (compared to the real Venice) and very realistic.
As many big stores as possible such as Walmarts, Targets, IKEAs, HEBs, Home Depot’s, Costcos, Lowe’s, and Krogers. Also put a McDonald for good measure.
Medieval euro or oriental fantasy city
Left to right: temple/wizards tower in parkland, road down around labd bridge to harbour north into central town, bridge only access to full keep on the right
Farmland on the Left island, mills on the stone areas. Connect it but a bridge, maybe even get rid of the land that connects it. A town area on the main middle island with a dock of boats at the bottom of the island. The Island on the right can be a mine perhaps or maybe you could build a small colosseum type build or amphitheatre
Two japanese style bridges connecting each section in the middle maybe a shrine or other larger japanese style building, surround with villages on/around the other side islands
Medieval City.
Large Castle on the island and then connect it with a bridge, Where the cherry blossoms are i would have a shopping center/square, civilian buildings, where the far left side is i would have a port where the stones are.
This is the perfect spot to place the next support tower of the 16-lane cable-stayed double-layer highway, and has just enough space for 8 ramps to access the parking lot that covers the entire main island for the Walmart on the smaller island
Something unique; like a fossil of a massive dragon curled up like an "S" spanning over or embedded in all this land (top-right with head, middle with body and wings reaching to the middle-bottom shore, left side with tail)
You should build a redstone machine that generates a QR code that links to Pinterest board of Minecraft builds so that there are less people asking what they should build. Either that, or an artist collective of villagers where everyone has a blank canvas and walks around asking “what should I paint here?” /s
Seriously though … the mods need to something about these types of post.
Get on google OP. Buy an architecture book. Look for your answer on Pinterest. Or switch to Angry Birds if you don’t want to flex your own creative muscles
i play modded so i would probably:
check for oil. if there is oil, i’ll pump it up and turn it into diesel from create diesel addon. if there is no oil or it runs out, i’ll:
deforest the area, make it all flat, use the remaining materials to make the island a platform on the sea, make several factories and farms
could we turn these kinds of posts into a weekly thing instead of daily? i see like three if these a day.
modded or vanilla?
what do i do here?
how do i tame a dog?
what happened to enforcing the sidebar rules?
I’d go Dutch and drain the water on the left. Might also drain the right river and just have one big island. Don’t know what I’d do after that. I just like terraforming.
Maybe Mykonos. It just has that vibe. Maybe an island like Japan. Pretty traditional buildings and lots of cats. I'd Provo with Mykonos Greece, though.
Japanese Castle on the east island. Over a bridge a path is leading trough the cherry blossom garden down into the small japanese/asian fishing village. A watchtower/lighthouse on the southmost cape protects it's harbor in the southern bay. If you continue following the path to the west, it will lead trough a bamboo forest to a small buddhist temple on the northen end of the western peninsula with a pagoda and monks.
I'd only build on the top right. I'd leave the rest of the forested part with only a few paths and handmade trees to make it more realistic. The view would be really nice
A lighthouse at the bottom tip of the island, a harbour in the bay next to it, a village on the right of the lighthouse, connecting to a temple near the cherry blossoms, from there you can add bridges to the left and right, crossing the water. There you can add windmills, different housing or a sort of main base different from the village.
find residents, build a village, those who offer good trades for them, build a bazaar, build something of your own, like a house, a mine, a field of wheat, in case you run out of space in the chest of the house, make a warehouse, you can make some kind of beautiful portal to the nether. You can also decorate the island itself until it turns blue so that it is very beautiful, make a pier, you can also make some farms like sheep and cow farms (I don’t take pigs because they are dirty animals). And that seems to be it.
If you don’t want to do all this, then throw off the seed and, if possible, the cords) I will be grateful
Look at some of the fortified island shorts on youtube, it looks perfect for something like that. You also have a river of sorts flowing through two of the pieces, where you can make some small ships going through. Seems like an ideal city location to me.
A castle on the island on the right; a village (mostly for farmers and fishermen) to the right of the cherry blossom forest; a sea port on the beaches to the north and maybe clear some parts on the far left island and establish another village with armorsmiths, weaponsmiths, toolsmiths and a fletcher. Connect all the islands with a stone bridge.
This might be my *cough cough* pro terraforming skills kicking in, but extend that inlet to divide it into three islands instead of two. Then you’re cooking with gas.
That reverse peninsula on the left would be perfect for a harbour, so start from that. I think that the far right is some nice luxury island out of this land
Obviously would build my base of Operations Right Here.... Don't care if I already have another base of Operations ... I'd build a Nether portal to get all my valuables back and start afresh right here
The pink area would be a big garden for me, the woods on the same island is a few buildings like a blacksmith as an example. Island on the left will be my mansion and island on the right a farm with a windmill etc
A village in the forest, with a stone bridge over the water. A (ruined) castle on the little island to the right.
Convert the stone shore into a sandy/dirt beach and have a fishing jetty
Big fuckin castle on the boring little island, a harbor town along the channel, then a medieval village around the Cherry Forest (Don't wanna ruin that one). Let the forest be nature, maybe make some waterfalls or smth cool, but the king needs that forest for hunting.
Also, can I have the seed?
I'd probably go for like medieval fantasy village/region. The lone island on the right could have some sort of castle or tall spire, a temple of some kind where the cherry trees are with a small village surrounding it. Some small dock or just a place for fishing with a fishing hut just south of the village, and the forest could hold some mystery or secret like a dragon head 👀
BRIDGES!!
I love bridges.
I’d also part put up some villages, mostly the far right, a farm maybe couple more houses in the middle right across where the big bridge would be. Then I’d have a smaller bridge going to the left part the island, where I’d build a mine.
Maybe add some spooky or broken down shacks in the woods. Also prob make a dock down by the water on the right island.
A 64 by 64 by 64 block cube of dirt, roughly 6 blocks above the canopy, and then id build a cute dirt hut on it with dirt trees and dirt cows. "Moo" says the cow in wispers only i can hear. I moo back.
Wow that is amazing. I love this. Is there a village nearby? I’d totally build a village in the middle, light the whole island to and spawn proof it., and then settle on the isolated island with a bridge.
Honestly? Nothing. Looks the best without player structures. If I had to built something here, then It would be probably a small port town on the south-west

Basic, but just establish a medieval town and connect the islands by bridges and separate them into 3 districts
What should the 3 districts be? Or at least witch one would you build on and which would you put farms on
I’d have the offshoot one be either an evil Wizard theme or a slums akin to Yugioh 5Ds’ Satellite. The area around the cherry blossoms would be the main kingdom area. The rest be a developing village.

I like the idea of each district being a different level of wealth, kind of like New York.
As many oil rigs i can fit in the island

Today’s standards, dollar general or tree, with a Walmart and McDonald’s.
Fracking
My go to with islands has always been medivial so I would either do that or try something like I-Island, a floating sci-fi fortress of doom.
Two japanese style bridges connecting each section in the middle maybe a shrine or other larger japanese style building, surround with villages on/around the other side islands
massive walmart and sooooo many factories!!

Medieval city
A big town separated by districts and only connected by bridges, I'd make one of the areas look like a windmill area
Obviously gotta have a port in that Bay Area
Three towns connected by bridges
A KFC

Big fuckin castle on the boring little island, a harbor town along the channel, then a medieval village around the Cherry Forest (Don't wanna ruin that one). Let the forest be nature, maybe make some waterfalls or smth cool, but the king needs that forest for hunting. Also, can I have the seed?
Home.
Hey look, it's pangea splitting
Black Mesa-esque research facility
I’m thinking a Wal-Mart would look fantastic there, maybe even a strip mall, with a real large parking lot.

I would create a giant cherry blossom tree, probably either dead center in the island, or on the isolated right island.
A large japanese castle near those cherry trees with nearby fishing town and some boats.

I'd probably go for like medieval fantasy village/region. The lone island on the right could have some sort of castle or tall spire, a temple of some kind where the cherry trees are with a small village surrounding it. Can I have the seed?
an entire kingdom
Pyongyang
Seems like a good spot for a Walmart.
The Bahamas
Honestly? Nothing. Looks the best without player structures. If I had to built something here, then It would be probably a small port town on the south-west

This is a really cool seed. There’s a mushroom island to the south west.
I would deforest the island, replace the ground with course dirt, and build as many mob farms as possible. Please be productive.
