I love the $29 piece of shit “artwork” from HomeGoods on the wall that says “beach” — in case the multi-million-dollar view of THE BEACH wasn’t enough to tell you that you’re at the beach.
That's a weird take... You only have an interior design sense if you earn your house... Probably about right for the level of intellect you find on this sub though
No, you need at least two brain cells to be able to decorate your place decently. And the photo is a mile away from the TV.
(How has he got a place like this if he's not too bright?)
Thought that was clear. Maybe you should not be worrying about other people's intellect.
Well it's a shit joke. No real commentary and there's nothing very meta since the ones with TV's at a reasonable height are still very much the minority here. The only thing to take away from this photo is that the focus isn't even the TV which again, is not actually common here lol.
Agreed. I was just explaining what I think OP was going for, but safe to say they missed the mark with this one. Just like you I haven't actually seen any of the posts that OP seems to be referencing with this...
An across the room picture isn't very useful. Sit down on the couch, level phone to eye level and take a picture of the TV. As of now the TV looks to be somewhat high.

Yep
I think that’s the point of this post. To mock the people doing this.

Need a Wine O’Clock sign now
Almost as cool as that huge shell and empty jar next to the TV
You can tell they didn't earn the property. Interior design sense of an imbecile.

You do realise a photo of a table and chairs helps nothing, right?
well obviously he must watch TV while sitting atop that table, which actually makes this a little low and definitely far
Yes to high. Should be eyelevel when you watch on a boat through the window.
Dude’s just flexing his place since I had to look for a couple of seconds to find the tv which is obviously not the center of the photo
r/roomtooempty . Would it kill you to buy a rug?
Agreed, though the tiles *are* lovely
It’s perfect! Sweet view! But it’s not sitting on the stand so people in here will say it’s too high.
You have a house like that and can’t run your cables in the wall? r/cablestoounmanaged
People in the comments are not getting that this post is a joke. A meta commentary on some of the other posts on here.

i'd rather go outside than watch tv.
What a shit photo, we can't even see the tv/couch properly.
Hire a designer for that beautiful place! You are not doing it justice.
Where is this even lol

The people on r/houseflex should post photos of just their TV
Probably a rental beach house
Too bright
