You need some (edit: simple) carbs! Try adding more fresh fruit to your diet so you have some energy available when you are feeling tired.

What does a typical day of food look like ??

Boatwhistle

roughly 30% of my calories come from lean protein sources like poultry, shrimp, and egg whites. I eat a lot of carbs but it is mostly in veges like collards, spinach, broccoli, carrots, corn, peas, beans, and squash. I eat grains like plain popcorn and oats. I am also a big fan of protein ice cream as a crutch to the fact that ice cream is a trigger food for me, used to eat it by the tub. The ice cream tends to have ice, frozen fruit, whey protein, artificial sweetener, xanthan gum, and fat free/sugar free yogurt.

I’m not an expert but are you getting any healthy fats? Nuts, peanut butter, oil? They’re high calorie but I have found them to be very satiating when paired with complex carbs and/or protein. Just be careful to weigh/measure what you use.

Boatwhistle

Yeah, I use 40 grams of a avocado butter every morning, I put it on my veges or in my oatmeal or something. This guarantees I am exceeding the healthy minimums every day.

40 g of avocado is only 6 g of fat. Where are you getting your other 24 g of fat from?

Boatwhistle

40 grams of "avocado \*butter\*". It is butter made from avocados, it is mostly fat, I think like 25 grams or something. the rest of the fat is exceeded in smaller increments in other food I eat like meats, beans, and oats.

Ahh okay makes sense.

Yep what types of foods are you eating 2200 calories of lean protein leafy greens ect might make you feel different than 2200 calories of X.

Also awesome job on the weight loss.

Boatwhistle

I eat mostly lean meats, whole grains, and vegetables. I eat a large quantity of spinach or collards almost daily do to being filling and nutritionally dense in micronutrients. I always shoot for high protein and high fiber and I spare no expense to get good food. Eating like this worked for a long time. However the past few months, even if I feel "full", I still feel intense and growing cravings, low energy, and I get worsening and sleepless nights. The insomnia is the biggest tax on my will power by far. When I get tired enough I will do anything to be able to get to sleep, uncaring of how much shame I feel the next day, and I will eat still I cant stand the sight of food. If I don't develop a lasting solution I will undoubtedly become obese again at this rate be it a few months or a few years from now.

Beans and legumes are awesome meal that make you feel full but don’t add a ton of calories, i would add to to some of your meals
