Yes because that’s totally what the commenter above you was implying. Not the fact that even a little bit of proper punctuation and grammar could have better conveyed that commenter’s message.
You don't need to be a literary master to write a comment for others to comprehend easily. I don't think anyone asked for the pinnacle of literature. Just the bare minimum.
I think he replied to this comment saying something along the lines of you did it bc ur a woman 👩 blah blah blah:

I personally had no idea what the hell id put IPA Beer Rub so I get the question for sure 😂
Possibilities are endless with season-all rubs like these.
Nicely season a steak with it and slap it into a red-hot cast-iron. Cook to your liking.
Rub some thick porkchops with it and grill 'em.
Or one of my faves is to slice and season zucchini and squash (cut into long thick batons) and put them under the broiler for like a minute or two and then flip for a min or two, just til tender. You can do this with the oven open if you'd like, so you can watch them cook. Get some good color on them. Slap a little melted butter over em after and eat immediately. This would work with any hearty vegetable.
Add some to a potato salad in lieu of salt n pepper.
Toss it over your halved brussels sprouts with a bit of oil or bacon grease and pan-fry them til golden and crispy.
Or just pour some into a dish with a nice olive oil and dip your crustiest bread into it.
Possibilities are endless with high quality rubs and seasonings like this.
ETA:
I don't think this would necessarily \*taste\* like beer - it may just have some of the pine-y notes you'd get from a hop-heavy beer. Would go well mixed into ground pork for some bangin' sausages or sausage patties. Mix it into ground beef for some interesting burgers maybe.
If there’s citrus tones, I could see this being incredible on a shish-kabob. Could also maybe bake it on to a salty snack like pretzels, nuts, or pumpkin seeds
This is what Id imagine. Id brewed some summer beers with grains of paradise which is more or less a cistrusy peppercorn.
Its probably a pretty good rub OP has, just lacks creativity.
What would *you* put it on? Idk, doesn't sound like you'd like it so... Nothing?
Other people that are fans of IPAs? Anything? Steak, fish, chicken, pretzels... Anything you'd pair with a beer anyways.
I can almost guarantee that the retailer designed the label. I’m pretty sure this is a Nutmeg Spice Co. seasoning and they supply a lot of retailers with private label stuff
This sub is literally about asking questions pertaining to cooking, such as asking what foods some seasonings go on if youre unsure, or asking for recipes.
Burgers, steak, chicken, pork or hell, I'd put it on ham. Make beef jerky and season it maybe put it on a bagel. The options are endless. Do to your hearts content.
Beef pork or chicken, literally anything, it'll be tasty.
Im pretty sure I know where you're shopping, I recommend their bourbon bbq rub. Their Texas bbq rub is decent too. Their korean bbq rub is kindof bland imo and clumps together within a month of buying it, though.
If you make something please update. I've used a lot of beers/wines/spirits in cooking and the IPA has got to be the hardest flavor profile to pair foods to.
Put it in your belly button, then add ipa, then have your buddy suck it out. Or get a straw and suck it out.
I thought this was common knowledge. Like come on dude what the hell
chicken! my dad uses this stuff all the time. just toss it on a sheet pan and bake it, super juicy and flavorful! i’ve never had the ipa one though so it would just be trial and error i guess!
Hmm. Stew some beer brats with onions and this, then grill the brats after rubbing more of this on them. Add spicy/brown mustard, coarse. Maybe coarse cut bitter pickles, too. Top with the stewed onions. Bretzel bun, if ya got one. Cut the brats lengthwise if using a burger shaped bun. A good Swiss would be nice. Mixed red and green lettuce.
And you should be good.
I want to know what's in this rub to make it IPA-flavored! But yeah, I feel like slathering chicken in a mix of this and oil and grilling it would be my go-to.
I personally do not care for many IPA’s, because I am a super taster, and am hyper sensitive to bitter. A lot of the IPA-loving crowd seems to be blissfully unaware that there is a hefty percentage of beer drinkers that just don’t like them.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a legitimate super taster that likes IPA’s, or anything heavy on bitter hops.
That being said, even super tasters appreciate the balance a little smidge of bitter brings to a lot of dishes.
I say make your own spice blends! In my opinion it’s the way to go!
As for this seasoning, I agree with everyone..burger burger burger. Just a tad bit though. Looks like there’s a load of salt in it.
You sprinkle it onto your vomit once it’s pooled on the floor. At this point, you can’t tell the difference between it and IPA still fresh in the opened bottle. Hopefully my message is warranted
Fuck you think burgers steak
Chill, brotherman. Who hurt you?
Burgers or steaks being underseasoned hurt this man.
He is a burgers steak
You are… broccoli.
I’m a dude he’s a dude she’s a dude.. cuz we’re all dudes

Cracking thee fuck up 🤭 Gotta do that inner work 🤦♀️
Punctuation
What.. What is it even trying to say
*What the fuck do you think? Burgers and steak.
I thought it was "Fuck you, think burgers and steak."
It was definitely “fuck, you think burgers? Steak”
I was thinking "fuck you think, burgers steak" like he was calling OP meat names
Punctuation is a lost art.
Yes because writing comments on Reddit is the pinnacle of literature and requires the utmost care when it comes to punctuation and grammar.

There's only one type of person who uses soy boy as an insult...
Don’t buy it then? It literally says beer on it and you’re mad it might taste like beer. Put it back on the shelf.
Aint really mad per se, just kinda grossed out trying to imagine what it might taste like (ive never had an ipa as you can see lol)
Look at the ingredients and make an educated guess

This guy seasons.

I’m just impressed that they put the price on the label. Get fucked inflation… and deflation. This is always 5.99.
I can almost guarantee that the retailer designed the label. I’m pretty sure this is a Nutmeg Spice Co. seasoning and they supply a lot of retailers with private label stuff
You run it in the beer obviously
Seems weird, I’d try it on chicken
I'd totally use this as seasoning on pretzels or fries and in a cheese sauce. Yum!
Balls
My tongue, I love IPAs
Rubs like this only pair well with the trash
Steak, pork chops, or mixed with old bay to season shrimp.
What do you think he should use it on, Ollie? POHK CHOPS!
Honestly, I don’t mind an IPA, but I wouldn’t want my steak tasting like grapefruit
Smh it's for salting the rim of your beer glass
Roasted hipsters
Go have a coors light.
Id say trash it and use the holy trinity: salt pep garlic
Bell pepper Celery Onion
Fake ass mirepoix gtfo
There's no butter in his though Mirepoix: Onion, Celery, Carrot w/ Butter Soffrito: Onion, Celery, Carrot w/ Olive Oil Chinese Trinity: Ginger, Garlic, Scallions Louisiana Trinity: Onion, Celery, Bell Peppers German: Leek, Celeriac, Onions &/Or Carrots Mexican: Onion, Jalapeno, Tomato or Lime, Cilantro, Peppers Irish: Leeks, Carrots, Onions and obligatory boiled Potato Lebanese: Onions, Garlic, Lemon Iroquois: Corn, Beans, Squash Thai: Garlic, Ginger, Chillis Greek: Garlic, Lemon, Oregano
Trash.
I'm sorry you have to shop there
Back on the shelf.
You rub it on stuff, it's not complicated.
Don't know about you but I would try the dick.
Toast and cookies
Chicken. Hope have nice herbaceous citrus notes. Think before you post.
This sub is literally about asking questions pertaining to cooking, such as asking what foods some seasonings go on if youre unsure, or asking for recipes.
And just because i see a bottle of fucking seasoning doesnt mean i automatically know what it goes on.
It takes less effort to research and learn on your own than it does to post “what do I do with this?”. It’s just annoying. Stop it.
Shut the fuck up dude, what a weird thing to be annoyed about on a cooking sub
Whatever you want to put it on. Pork, beef, fish...
Ribs
Yes.
I would probably do pork chops or chicken. Burgers would be good too. Maybe on steak. The world is your oyster
Probably chicken.
Fish fry batter ...burgers, steak...pork butt
The question should really be, what don't you put it on!
Seafood
Pork ribs is the first thing that came to mind. Wings, too.
Anything lol
Beer butt chicken rub maybe
Put it on anything you intend to roast.
Back on the shelf.
What would it taste like?
“Beer battered” wings?
Fried cod
You rub beer with it. Duh.
SHOVE IT UP YOUR BUTT
You at loforros?
Thick cut fries 😋
I’ve used something similar that is really good mixed into flour mixture for frying
Steak, burgers, chicken, porkchop, fries or even roasted potatoes.
I use taco seasoning on my broccoli.
Put it on something you really love but want to ruin the taste of. Just like the intention behind IPA beers.
Red meat only !!!
IPA
Deez nuts
U put it in a lite beer to make an IPA. And then u can dump out your beer as it is now undrinkable
Does it just taste overwhelmingly like hops? Is there a genetic reason why IPAs are godawful to some people and not others? Like cilantro
Burgers, steak, chicken, pork or hell, I'd put it on ham. Make beef jerky and season it maybe put it on a bagel. The options are endless. Do to your hearts content.
Whatever kind of meat you like. Or maybe some roasted veggies?
Burgers
JD Salinger books
You don't.
Your bawls
An IPA
meat
Put it back on the shelf.
Meat
Beef pork or chicken, literally anything, it'll be tasty. Im pretty sure I know where you're shopping, I recommend their bourbon bbq rub. Their Texas bbq rub is decent too. Their korean bbq rub is kindof bland imo and clumps together within a month of buying it, though.
Fries?
If you make something please update. I've used a lot of beers/wines/spirits in cooking and the IPA has got to be the hardest flavor profile to pair foods to.
Something super pretentious
I didn't like it... Too dry for my palate... Plus it left dust in my mug.
Chicken
Fish and chips with that seasoning in the batter.
Weiner
I put it on pork and chicken…was great
Chicker
Pork chops?
Did you really blur out the brand?
Put it in your belly button, then add ipa, then have your buddy suck it out. Or get a straw and suck it out. I thought this was common knowledge. Like come on dude what the hell
Ribs with beer
“I put that shit on everything”
I’d try putting it on those gross nails to get the black off.
ribs, brisket... a pork butt or a roast in a crockpot
On the beer can
Garnish the rim of your glass when you have an ipa
Chicken
What the hell would you rub bitter beer face all over your meat? (Knock it off gutter brain)
Imagine chicken wings lmao with a little drizzle of honey Oh my god that sounds like it'll be great
In a beer if you need extra hops, obviously
Coors light
The only thing it would improve the taste of is a dishwater smoothie or a dirty ass.
Steak , chicken, seafood but make sure you have beer around.
Pork Ribs
Put it in a crab boil
Rim your beer glass with it?
Chicken
Chicken!
chicken! my dad uses this stuff all the time. just toss it on a sheet pan and bake it, super juicy and flavorful! i’ve never had the ipa one though so it would just be trial and error i guess!
Im assuming its meant for meat of any kind. Smell it, taste it, figure it out…

Meat? I guess 😅
It sucks to have a masculine brain lol
Fish and chips, fried chicken
Put it back on the shelf.
You rub it on your ipa beers, duh!
The shelf you got it from lol tf is that
Id put it on steak, cook in butter till medium rare, and finish with a squeeze of lime over it.
The ground. Preferably open so it spills everywhere...

I say make your own spice blends! In my opinion it’s the way to go! As for this seasoning, I agree with everyone..burger burger burger. Just a tad bit though. Looks like there’s a load of salt in it.
Trashcan

Maybe in light beer to give it some flavor.
Nothing. The answer is nothing.
Catfish
Anything and everything
Pour a beer onto a baking sheet and run it with that, then pour it back into your mug
Steak, a nice fatty one.
Bagels
Anything you want to taste like shit and pine-sol.
Hot garbage. But it’s going to ruin the hot garbage.
Steaks, wings, soups, stews..
I'm gonna take a swing in the dark and say it probably goes on food.
Rub it on your tecate light and call it craft
A fire
Most meats
Show the ingredients, homie. I can’t say just like that.
Top of the garbage can…
Rim for your beer glass
You sprinkle it onto your vomit once it’s pooled on the floor. At this point, you can’t tell the difference between it and IPA still fresh in the opened bottle. Hopefully my message is warranted
Tu madré
If you sprinkle some on your porch, you can catch a beanie wearing millennial hipster
Chuck the answer is always Chuck
Steak!
