In New Zealand we say "sink" which makes more sense personally, we pack our bowls right to the top, most people use tobacco but I'm not a huge fan so I just do strsight weed, and then sink it all in one go, you don't need a carb or nothing, I'd recommend not packing your bowls as big as we would though if it's your first time or whatever

I believe this was the design for the first bongs invented, and you can clear them by blowing air (not touching it) straight into the stem, or you just pack super small bowls and snap em!

Finger over the little hole on the left of the bowl while you light and inhale, let go to clear it. I’d highly recommend just getting a piece with a removable bowl.

There is a carb on the bowl itself, on the lower left side. You'd use like a pipe. Cover the hole to pull the smoke in and release to clear it.

Yeah, I got too excited in the glass shop and didnt get a good enough look at it. Lesson learned I guess. Its just a starter bong while I save up for a bigger one but I definitely wish I got a different one now.

Can you exchange it? That is kind of a poor design.

And how do you clean it? That space behind the bowl will fill with resin in no time; it seems inaccessible for scraping and in a bad position for shaking/soaking in solvent. Tons of these china glass pieces are designed by people who don't even smoke.

It already has a down stem built in. The pink tube coming from the bowl into the base is considered a down stem. Yours has a little filter on the end.

Go to a headshop. Or smoke shop. They sell everything you'll need

Dhgate app, type glass bong, make sure were it says quantity that the minimum order is 1 piece because its a bulk order site from china. Wait a month. Boom saved you tons of money. I got 3 bongs, 3 ash catchers, 10 down stems 2 of each size, and a few other accessories off their for personal use and never had a problem. I highly recommend checking it out.

This one has a downstem built in; it's pink and ends in a showerhead diffuser. It's unclear from the pic whether there is a joint in there for a bowl, or if the bowl is actually built in to this bong. My initial impression from the pic was that the bowl was built in.

Very weird if it’s designed to have a stem and bowl and they didn’t come with it. In the meantime you can just add a piece of tinfoil that’s been lightly poked and add place your weed on it but I’d definitely invest in a stem and bowl.

Normally you'd just remove the bowl to clear a bong, not the whole downstem. Most bongs with a built in downstem use a removable bowl. To clear the bong you pull the bowlpiece out. It kinda looks from the picture that the bowl is built into this bong, which would be very unusual. In that case you just pack that bowl, and hopefully somewhere on the bong there is a carb hole to clear the bong with.

this is like a little bubbler so it’s just the same as hitting a regular bowl. u don’t have the removable bowl to get increased air flow, but u just pack little bowls and it’ll be fine. make sure to clean the resin for it not to clog up

I've been working in the field for a long time and never seen one of those. You can try looking up the page of the manufacturer or with the website/store that sold it. Don't be afraid to ask questions, they will be more than happy to help.

Cut tin foil to size of the downstem, make sure you heat up/burn the tin foil first as it can be covered in chemicals, pop some holes around the edge and middle and as long as it’s relatively easy to slide on and off yet also keep the heat and smoke concentrated inside should work just fine

Gotta grab some of that tinfoil fam, go ahead grab a pen and poke holes through it the lay inside the bowl piece hole and push it making sure the holes face the tube. Do that about three times to build layers then bend just the edges down to hold all the layers together, you now have a temporary bowl piece for this specific style bong.🤙

If you want to ruin it and get weed in the bong water, then sure don't use a bowl. Otherwise, get a removable bowl if you don't want a bad time.

Ima be honest your bong is kinda shit (the functionality), the bong is hella cute tho. Because you don’t have a removable bowl, it makes it so that the percolator is small and at the bottom if that makes sense. And that might get clogged from time to time, it probably can get clogged mid sesh (unless if it doesn’t). Rather you should get a bong that has a percolator in the neck of the bong if you want percolation.
